Love, is one of those things, that can easily be misunderstood.

For instance, a person may actually be expressing, more “true love” than others, yet appear to be “unloving”.

This all boils down to “Telling people the truth”.

Some people, may want to avoid hurting someone’s feelings so badly, that they are willing to lie to them; (This is not true love!)
--------------------------------------------------
The point being made here, is that there are some people, who participate in this forum, that do not truly know Christ as their Savior:
Yet “in love”, some of us assure them, that “they are just as saved as we are”!

This is a very cruel thing, to do to them. Because some day(if they don’t get saved), they will drop into the lake of fire, thinking that “they were alright”.
--------------------------------------------------
Now I know, that some people will quickly want to correct me, and ask, “who do I think that I am, to judge someone else?”

Well, I am a Christian, with love in my heart for my fellow man, who will tell people the truth, even if it hurts their feelings.

But here are some details.
--------------------------------------------------
1 John 2:22
“Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ?
He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.”

This verse says, that anyone who denies, that Jesus came to earth, “as God”, “in human Flesh”, is a liar, and is also lying to themselves.

When we read the posts, of people on this forum, as they cast doubt about the Deity of Christ, than we can “know for sure”, that that person is lost, and on their way to hell.

We can also know, that that person, does not have the Holy Spirit in their heart, so therefore, they have absolutely “no” Spiritual understanding.
(This makes them very dangerous to listen to!)
--------------------------------------------------
This point about the Deity of Christ, is just one of several “proofs”, that the Bible gives us, in order to identify “false Christians”.

God gives us these “proofs”, for our own protection.
--------------------------------------------------

Everything, that I have said in this post, is said out of love for all of you.

True love is an action, not an emotion.
Love means giving people what they need in order to promote both of them.
Please don't get that confused.

When you say "lying" to someone is not true love, you are in error.

If my dad paints me a picture, and it looks like ........well.........not the best...
And I say to him, Dad, I will treasure this forever, thank you!!!
Is that not true love?

He did his best for me, and out of love I acknowledge that because what he needs from me right at that moment, is my appreciation for his effort.

My action then to him is acknowledging that.
Yes dad, this is fantantastic!!! Although I can't even make out what it is supposed to be.

Love is not Hallmark cards and hugs.
Love is an action--------giving people exactly what they need.

Hi eleven

I’m sure that you love your dad, but that isn’t the kind of lying, that I was talking about.

If someone is in going the wrong direction(Spiritually), if you really love them, you will point them in the right direction, even if it makes them mad or hurts their feelings.

Ok, I can appreciate that. However, you have to learn that everyone's spiritual journey is their own. Your journey is not their journey.

If everyone stopped dictating to other people what they need to do, and instead, focused on what they needed to do to be more spiritual themselves, this world would be a happier and more peaceful place.

Hello again eleven

Dictation, has nothing to do with it.

And I am not talking about “someone’s spiritual journey”:
--------------------------------------------------
If somebody is not saved, and they think that they are:
It would be unkind, to pat them on the back, and say nothing, just to keep things peaceful.
