Are you thinking about food articles people eat ?

That was not the intent of the title to this post, BUT it does apply, as people in the Christian world ARE eating things, God said NOT TO !

The real purpose of the title is to show how far away from true Christianity, people have gone to.

4:1 And in that day seven women shall take hold of one man (Jesus Christ ?), saying, We will eat our own bread, and wear our own apparel: only let us be called by thy name, to take away our reproach.
(I added the name Jesus Christ, so that there will be absolutely no misunderstanding about what the Bible verse, is really saying here.)

This is the current trend of modern Christianity, today.

People want to be called Christians, but want to do their own thing, in their own way.

Jesus responds to that........

Luke 6:46 And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say ?

1 Corinthians 6:19 What ? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost [which is] in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?

6:20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.

1 Corinthians 0:31 Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.

Amen! I have recently discovered that God DOES care about what you eat, and I have been following a diet that is pleasing to God. And that excludes ANYTHING that is an abomination to God, such as pork and shellfish. Not only do I feel better spiritually, but I feel very healthy, I have MUCH more energy, and my body functions better!

That is definitely true! And its pretty sad that people would try to work their way around the health laws, and pull scriptures out of context and twist the word of God just so they can feel better about being VERY unhealthy.
