Well, it really is no secret at all, as it is plainly taught throughout the Whole Bible....from Genesis to Revelation.
But, you'd think it was a secret because there are very few people in the Christian world who understand HOW eternal life, is attained to.
Romans 6:16 Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness ? |

The words of Jesus are the seed of immortality. His words are the source of eternal life (i.e., life in the age to come). It is his message, his gospel of the kingdom, that the devil does not want people to "believe and be saved."
The "secret" to gaining eternal life is to see, hear, understand and repent in response to the proclamation of the gospel. |

And the Bble tells us that satan is all too successful at getting people to believe, BUT NOT do.
A mere superficial belief in Jesus Christ, will save No One.
To merely say that a person believes in Jesus Christ...or God ...will save No One either.
A true belief in God (Christ) results in a person's actions, on a daily basis.
As the Bible says: "By their fruits shall ye know them".
God says: that a person has to prove, that they are a Christian ! |
