My grandmother used to go an collect all kinds of greens.
Dandelions, lamb's-quarters, wild spinach mostly, maybe a few wild onions.
But man there is all kind of wild greens just to name a few: Of course, there are a zillion and one other flavorful wild greens: curled dock, milkweed, plantain, fireweed, watercress, wild grapes, shepherd's purse, wood sorrel, chickweed, stork's-bill, burdock, chicory. This is just a few.
I'd forgotten so I got these from a website.
I highlighted a few I remember she used.
Most people would call them weeds!
Good health bro,

Thanks, Nobby,
My grandmother who just died a week and a half ago, being 107 years old, used to do the same thing, when she was a child growing up.
Few people realize that God put these things here, for our health.
If more people ate such things, far fewer trips to the doctor, or hospitals would be needed. _________________ Matthew 5:11 Blessed are ye, when [men] shall revile you, and persecute [you], and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. |
