Well the latest to support McCain now is Rev Parsley another rabble rouser for nuclear war against the Muslims. _________________ My boss is a Jewish carpenter.

nope...nice try 45, but you'll have to up the ante...
not only is Obama's "spiritual advisor" a race baiter...but Obama himself has put his church at risk of losing their non-profit status by speaking at their annual Synod...he was a declared candidate at the time of the speach, and he said "As President, I will..."...that amounts to campaigning from the pulpit...in direct violation of the Johnson Act of 195?....(I forget the details)....at any rate, somebody reported to the IRS and they're now investigating.....oooops? _________________ Links of note:"Review for Doubting Christians"

Unfortunately there has been campaigning at the church I go. So what? Why should that church lose its 501.3c protection just for a single speech by a candidate whose church he is a member. How many churches has Hillary spent time campaigning in? (oh excuse me attending funerals.) _________________ My boss is a Jewish carpenter.

Apparently, Trinitarian churches claim to be Christian, and at the same time, ignore Christ's admonition in John 18:36; "My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight... but now my kingdom is not from hence" (this time).
Unfortunately, popular religions that claims to follow Jesus, ignores his teaching about getting involved in the affairs of this world. A true Christian church would not allow politicians into their midst, except to repent of their evil ways.
Rod Parsley is about as corrupt as any politician, and hasn't a clue what Christianity is about. His only concern is Rod Parsley. |

McCain's embracing of some of the religious right ( Parsley and Hagee) is a re-inactment of Bush's same swerve in that direction. In 2000 Bush got the votes from many evangelicals with this maneuver.
They know this time that McCain just doesn't have the credentials to make that claim on them so the religious right will not be swayed by a few preachers accepting him "into the fold" without him changing many of his long held views of important issues like abortion and gay rights. Most likely the religious right will be split into several camps and nullify their voting block. _________________ My boss is a Jewish carpenter.
