Franklin Graham is on TV at 8pm-9pm EST in a PRIME TIME spot....
Instead of garbage sitcoms about homosexuals or game shows that have half naked contestants..Something DECENT is on

That show I was referring to was some show my g/f watches on MTV, irritating show. But the homosexual sitcom irritates me even more >< _________________ Romans 12:19 Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place

Yes, also note that I'm not innocent of watching things I shouldn't like Family Guy and things of the like. A lot of comedy central. I just don't like these 2 shows in paticular. =P
I.E. Anything on MTV is annoying + that Will and Grace show. =O
But each to his own =O _________________ Romans 12:19 Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place

Hey. Last year I tried one of those satellite TV package deals. Hated it. Hard to find channels, and any windy day could knock out the satellite. So I had it taken out.
Being too busy, and lazy to bother calling the cable company, I just let it go.
I never realized how truly annoying TV is.
It's kinda like realizing the pain goes away once you stop banging your head against the wall.
I'm glad it's gone! I have had more time to read, study, and watch movies that I really wanna see.
The house is blissfully quiet, and I have one less bill every month. |

/offtopic....but when I read this, I immediately flashed to the Seinfield episode where Putty tells Elaine that she's going to hell because she's not saved....he continues to date her though... _________________ Link to intro post of "who I am"

I LOVED that show.
Do you remember where Elaine is kind of confused because she borrows his car and all the radio stations are tuned to Christian music?
Jerry tells her to reset the buttons and see what happens. Elaine does.
The next time she borrows the car, Jerry asks, "and what about the Christian radio stations?"
Elaine replies, "Resurrected!"

OH NO! Not Family Guy too! Those are some of my favorite shows. Just out of curiosity, let me list my other favorites to see if any more are on the chopping block:
Orange County Choppers
South Park
Jon Stewart Show
The Colbert Report (PLEEEASE don't chop this)
The History Channel (ANYTHING on that channel)
Monk
CSI (Getting a little old now, you can chop this one)
Psychic (It's a comedy)
And yes the classic:

Some of my favortie comedies:
Ghost Hunters
Ghost Hunters International
Destination Truth
The View (Which I've only watched a couple of times)
The O'Reily Factor (Which I stopped watching after a couple of shows)
Oprah (Which I don't watch anymore because I don't like crying all that much) _________________ Faith is the confident obedience to the Word of God in spite of circumstances or consequences. |

One of the funniest shows ever would definitely be on the chopping block if it hadn't already been chopped:
Arrested Development
(and hats off to P who told me I should watch it - he was right). _________________ Truth doesn't care about theology, and theology doesn't care about truth. |

Some reason the response I wrote didn't show here. But heres the gist of it.
I'm not gonna pretend I don't watch things that seem a bit edgy at times .
Family guy, American Dad, Simpsons, and my favorite, King of the Hill (This one I feel less guilty watching afterwards lols ) .
Oh, and BOOOO Seinfeld / Will and Grace (Just not my cup of tea )
Colbert and John Stewart are big bowls of awesomesauce.
Anything on History Channel I like too. (LoL I just seen you said the same thing as I was editing Thought I was reading my own post) _________________ Romans 12:19 Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place

man one must be careful...i caught the history channel and discovery channel making a few major booboos when doing biblical shows...misquotes and miscredits...for example...
like moses getting mad at GOD for killing uzzah(?), for reaching out and stablizing the ark of the covenant when the ox cart that was carrying it hit a bump...
it was david...david not moses...david!!!.... |
