1. Romams 14:23 mean?
And he that doubteth is damned if he eat, because he eateth not of faith:
for whatsoever is not of faith is sin.
Does it mean
what whatsoever is not of faith is not of Love,
and therefore is sin,
since sin is Hate for any word?
John 1:1. Matthew 5:43-48. Mt 12:34-37.
2. And what does Romans 10:17 mean?
17So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
Does it mean Faith comes by Love or by hearing about Love,
since hearing comes from the Word of God who is Love, and which word Love He is?
3. And is Hebrews 11 really The Love Chapter?
Does the definition in verse one really apply to Love?
Does verse 6 really mean that without Love, it is impossible to please God?
Hebrews 11
1Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
2For by it the elders obtained a good report.
3Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.
4By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts: and by it he being dead yet speaketh.
5By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God.
6But without faith it is impossible to please him:
for he that cometh to God must believe that he is,
and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

Dear atoz!
This is wonderful.....never saw it this way before....though I love Heb. 11 as an encouraging chapter to love by.....not seeing the result of one's walking by faith in this life....knowing that God's promises are sure. He's so good! 
And how can we walk by faith without love? Impossible.
Thanks again for enlarging my understanding of faith and love.
We can add "works" to this as well. To do the works prepared by God for us by both His loving faith and ours which we receive by His grace.
It is wonderful!

This thread is fascinating but its the deep end for me. I'm delighted that you've reminded me of Galations 5:6 "Faith works by Love".
I've not stopped to think about just what that means. Could I have some remedial help on Gal5:6 before I can think about applying it to other areas. It's an exciting text and I can 'sense' what it might mean.
Faith works by love? Faith works by love! Faith works by love.  Faith works by love. "Though I have faith to..and have not love..

Love makes all words, every word In and OUT of the Bible work!---of which words, faith and its opposite is just one pair!
Matthew 22:36-40 and 5:44-48.
See Eccles 3:1-8 for 28 more pairs.
See James 2 for how Love also makes the faith of NO faith work!smile ---in other words, there is a time to have NO faith, but there is never a time to have NO Love! So Love carries its own faith: Faith in Love for faith and no faith.
U intuitively know all this already!smile

This is so cool -- thinking on your posts it came to me concerning faith which, of course, is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things unseen:
Romans 5:1-5
1 Therefore, having been justified by faith/love, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, 2 through whom also we have obtained our introduction by faith/love into this grace in which we stand; and we exult in hope of the glory of God. 3 And not only this, but we also exult in our tribulations, knowing that tribulation brings about perseverance; 4 and perseverance, proven character; and proven character, hope; 5 and hope does not disappoint, because the love/faith of God has been poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.
And there remains faith, hope and love....but the greatest of these is love. Personally, I think that these are the works that God has prepared for us to do.
So by faith/love we have hope:
Place your hope totally in the grace to be given you when Jesus Christ is revealed. (I Pet 1:13)
But now, Lord, what do I wait for? All my hope is in you. (Ps 39:7)
But the eyes of the Lord are on those who fear him, on those whose hope is in his unfailing love. (Ps 33:18)
Those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles. (Is 40:31)
My soul waits for the Lord more than watchmen wait for the dawn. 0 Israel, put your hope in the Lord, for with the Lord is unfailing love. (Ps 130:6-7)
But the needy will not always be forgotten, nor the hope of the afflicted be crushed forever. (Ps 9: 18)
No one whose hope is in you will ever be put to shame. (Ps 25:3)
The Lord delights in those who fear him, who put their hope in his constant love. (Ps 147:1 1)
May the God of hope fill you will all joy and peace in believing, so that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. (Rom 15:13)
And then, of course, there are the remaining fruit of the Spirit! The abundant LIFE!

when you are on the Love-tracks, the only tangent you can get off on is still Love!smile

And if you translate faith into 'belief' and 'believe' and 'believe in' and check Genesis 15:6, here we go to the FOTF who is really the FOTL or LOTL!

Love your enemies - be perfect as your Father is perfect! So no-one can be in any doubt that God loves everyone! -Not just the elect! Wonderful.
"My brothers, if you have the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ of glory, do not take a man's position into account. "
So it is not possible to truly have the faith of Christ i. e. to give Christ supremacy in my life without it expressing itself in love for all.
Faith without love cannot be the faith of Christ. But the real faith/love brings Peace!

I agree with atoz. Nobby tells us to be tangential in this forum and you have to be blessed so that you can bless me.
Tangents are God's way of making the curved path straight through DI gressing into His Blessing! (That's not bad for me atoz!).

Oh...oh --- He's altogether lovely! What lovely work (fortifying, exerting, buttressing, supporting, occupying) He gives us to do (carry out, execute, produce).
Through His heavenly produce (that fruit again - sigh).
Here's another tangential road trip: I see Abram's belief resulting from God speaking to him. I don't see Abram choosing God (though I could be wrong - I just don't see any other way right now).....all comes from God. I mean who could possibly turn God down after hearing His voice?
