Veronica,
I surely pray for the Lord to touch the hearts of both you and your husband so that you may once again find harmony with one another in the name of love. I pray that your husband does not break his faith in you, in the bond that was once binding between the two of you; the vow made before God in love; that he may find peace in the Lord for the betterment of his family. I pray, likewise, that you do not break your faith in your husband, so that understanding and grace may be grasped between the both of you, and held firm in truth, and that you may both find the correct steps to the path of happiness and love and grace in the Lord Jesus. Amen

Veronica, I will pray as hard as I can for all happiness for you and your husband.

Veronica,

I too have had my share of marital problems. I will be praying for you & your husband. I have some material that could possibly help. Have you read The Power of a Praying Wife by Stormie Omartian? It helped me tremendously.

you guys are the best. I feel better just knowing that you care about me and are praying for me. my husband just got home from work and yelled at me for not washing his shirt. he stormed out of here and went to the bar. i dont think i can deal with this much longer. would it be a sin if i divorced him? it seems like a sin to NOT divorce him. I've been patient all these years....but nothing has changed really. I wish he could just forgive me, but forgiveness is not something he is good at i guess

VM,

Maybe reading 1 Cor 7:10-16 will help. It seems scriptually the only reason for divorce is fornication or adultry, which I view as the same thing, and Jesus says that if a man just looks on a woman to lust after her has commited adultry - Matt 5:27-29. These are the only biblical reasons for divorce.
To be honest, sometimes it is hard for me to find comfort from scriptures when I am in a difficult situation. It sounds like your in one of those situations, I will pray for you. But I do know when you come through this, and know that you will, you will be a much stronger person and be able to look back and see the growing experience God put you through and praising Him for it.

Always remember whether it is dark, stormy, cloudy and gray, behind it all the sun still shines and does come out afterward.

Jesus said that? This is almost too good to be true. This is why i need to study the Bible more. I try to study but its very hard for me. maybe i could join a bible study group here?
