This is probably the most superficial post on this entire board.
I noticed several members haven't selected Avatars. An "avatar" is the image that shows up when you post under your name.
It's just a way to make things more fun, and another way to customize your identity on the board.
To select an avatar, click your "Profile" link at the top of the page (You have to be logged in). Then at the bottom you have the choice of selecting an image from our library or uploading your own image (size and pixel limitations for uploads).
Try it. It just might be fun...

I kinda like it for Atoz...seems to kind of fit in the opposites of all things!

Perhaps an abstract black-white thingy would accomplish the same purpose. But don't change for me. I like to engage in conversation with soul-sucking robots.

Very cool, wilber. I confess to being less than perfectly content with my avatar. I recently started to contribute to ChristianViewpoints and ChristianDiscussion, and was looking for a single avatar that would be available for all three. I do not sit on a case of moonshine when I type. My beard is not the colour (or length) of the one my avatar possesses. It has much more grey also. 
There was one that I thought was really great--a kind of Darth Binary. But I am not prepared to project quite such an evil image (yet).

I nearly chose that binary covered face too as like a Yoda or whoever!
It was not evil to me--just futuristic like God with a face of numbers rather than of e-yes and no-es!smile
But cd you help me?
Tell me specifically how to up load an avatar from there here?
Please be specific.
