Hey how ya all doin thought i better introduce myself before lookin at everything that is written here...Im Gaz or Gazza if you prefer im a bloke who is searching for absalute truth within the bible about creation about the end times about God about Jesus you get the drift.. At the moment though im stuck on a topic that i heard the other week about the dream that is in Daniel,,you know the one about the statue and what it all represents...Does anyone have any pointers for me . Queensland coast.....sounds nice when ya say it like that but its dam cold at the moment, people are saying it hasnt been this cold in 20 years.Oh south queensland coast i shouldve said... Cheers mate

Re. your question about that daniel dream,
check this out:

"Identification of the Kingdoms
These same four world-ruling gentile kingdoms are described in the second chapter of Daniel.

King Nebuchadnezzar of the Chaldean Empire, who had taken the Jews captive, had a dream, the meaning of which God revealed to Daniel.

The dream is described in verses 31-35.

The king saw a great image.
Its head was of gold,
its breast and arms of silver,
its belly and thighs of brass,
its legs of iron and its feet and toes were part iron and part clay.
Finally, a stone, not in men's hands, but supernaturally, smote the image upon his feet and toes.
It was broken in pieces and was blown away like chaff. Then the stone that smashed it became a great mountain and filled the whole earth.

"This," Daniel says, beginning verse 36, "is the dream; and we will tell the interpretation thereof before the king.""

There is a big chart tying Daniel 2, 7 and 8 and Revelation 13 and 18 together and explaining the symbols.

Welcome to the board...

Daniel essentially prophesied about the coming kingdoms of the world... The Persian, the Medo-Persian, the Greek, and the Roman... and then a last Kingdom that hasn't been established.. yet. Anyway… it was a pretty good guess on his part of what was yet to come.
