I'm not sure where I can put this thread but here goes.
We are about to get into the time frame for the annual Race across America, while this race runs a distant second to the Tour D' france as far as notoriety, it is the far better race.
It goes from the West coast to the east coast without the night stops and the feasts that accompany the "Tour". While there is a single class of riders in the "Tour" the RAAM has several classes and several winners due to the class structure. They go about the same distance yet finish in half the time 9 days vs 21 days.
Has anyone here, even heard of this race or watched it? Or even yet ridden in it?
