What could a NON-Christian college teach a person who is trying to live a Christian life anyway ? _________________ Matthew 5:11 Blessed are ye, when [men] shall revile you, and persecute [you], and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. |

Umm... arts? Sciences? Or maybe one of the other ten billion things which is not mentioned in the Bible... _________________ "Men never do evil so completely and cheerfully as when they do it from religious conviction."

Sad indeed. The last paragraph pretty much sums up how far Harvard has fallen:
| Quote: | | It would have also marked a nod to Harvard's roots as a school founded to train Puritan ministers 370 years ago. |
Ain't doing any of that anymore... very sad. _________________ Exodus 20:11 "For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them..."

All universities have lowered their standards considerably. It just turns out that Harvard is no exception.
It really doesn't matter (within reason) where you do your undergrad. Of course people love ivy league schools, but there isn't that much of a difference between a B.Sc in computer science from, say, Stanford and the University of Toronto. It's only in grad school where you start to see big differences. _________________ "Men never do evil so completely and cheerfully as when they do it from religious conviction."

Amen. But the government sucks as well. _________________ "Men never do evil so completely and cheerfully as when they do it from religious conviction."

The Book of Proverbs alone....can teach a person more than the most of the great colleges can teach. _________________ Matthew 5:11 Blessed are ye, when [men] shall revile you, and persecute [you], and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. |
