BTW, I have been over on CARM for a long time and there has been some trouble there so I am looking for a new "home" for Christian discussion. Several of my friends from that board are looking as well so I am also being a scout here I guess. Is this a good board for doctrinal discussion? Any good conversation about theology here?

Admin means that this board is open to christians and atheists of which we have a few members. We have a debate section in which all can post their views, but we also have Christian sections in which the atheists have very respectfully avoided posting in.

In my travels around various boards, I see many of them having the type of troubles you speak off. I don't think it can be completely avoided, but we as moderators try to keep things civilized here without muzzling the ox too much. It's a delicate balance.

Everyone is welcome to post their views if done respectfully and according to the board rules posted. The debate section can get heated, but we will step in if it goes too far.
