Hey Ron,

I spent my first 34 years being a very active member in of the church of Christ. For me it was a good place to grow up. My brother and mother are still members. My brother is a youth minister.

There are many good churches out there and there are many bad ones. But guess what? There are no perfect churches out there because there are people in them!

Any time a bunch of people get together there is always some sort of organizing that takes place. Even if it is to decide who should bring snacks! This organizing activity is not evil, it is just the way people do things. Of course it can be abused and has been. This does not make organizations evil. It is the people who are either good or bad.
