I don't enough to really discuss this topic.
Tom Cruise as a savior.
Can't be good.
Then again Americans elect actors as Congressmen, Mayors, Governers, Presidents. |

Isn't scientology based the writings of a Science Fiction writer or something?
Scientology really is too much like a cult to be taken seriously, if you look at the way they target people and brainwash them into joining.
I suppose the good thing is that there hasn't been a mass suicide of Scientologists... |

I thought that it had to do with aliens brought us to Earth.
Same question who made the aliens. |

Other aliens?
From my understanding (which is shallow on this "religion", granted), Scientology is based on some works of fiction by L. Ron Hubbard. They didn't sell too well, so someone thought to turn it into a religion. Helped book sales.

Based on fiction.
I guess then they can change the rules whenever they want.
No wonder so many are going that way. |

(I mean, come on, who thought of that "I'm sorry, ask me why" BS and didn't consider the fact that it looks like cult behavior? Oh right, almost all of evangelism's recruiting practices look like cult behavior.)
But then at least evangelicals haven't infiltrated the CIA (as far as we know) they're just trying to infiltrate the governing bodies of the US. And they don't tend to instill a distrust for psychiatry leading to people dropping necessary meds and going crazy. |
