Has anyone seen this movie? Any thoughts?

You can watch it on google video. It's very thought-provoking.

Some of the stuff they say, such as the bit about the word 'sunset' smack of B.S. but many other shocking things they say are verifiable. Anyways, that's all the thoughts I want to give for the moment - I don't want to spoil anything just yet Razz

So... I don't suppose anyone has watched the movie yet? To get the ball rolling, the first section of the movie mentions parallels between various religions.

For instance, parallels are drawn between these fellows:

Horus (Egypt, 3000BC)
Attis (Greece, 1200BC)
Mithra (Persia, 1200BC)
Krishna (India, 900BC)
Dionysus (Greece, 500BC)

According to the movie:

►All of these were born of a virgin, 4 of them on Dec 25
►All of these were resurrected, 3 of them after 3 days
►Four of them performed miracles (such as healing the sick, walking on water, turning water into wine)
►Three of them had disciples; two had 12 of them
►Two of them were located via a star in the east
►Several were referred to as the truth, the light, god's only son, the king of kings, the alpha and omega, good shepherd, the lamb

Who else can we think of who shares these traits?

Any thoughts on these parallels?
