|
|
Gays have taken ..outright stole something that was God-Given and twisted it into something that should be despised in every quarter...the Rainbow...What was the rainbow given for and by whom? ...As a promise ...by God...And now look ...Those who delight in the despises practice of that which ... God has from the beginning ...called it an "abomination"...have stolen and co-oped God's Rainbow... twisting it into something representing the most vilest thing in the LORD'S sight...Boldly ...in the face of the Almighty..is flown their emblem of solidarity ...Is not the Rainbow the tie that binds recognition of gays and lesbians together? You can call me a homophobe or intolerant...it matters not...and I care not...God was robbed...the one thing I can't be called is...a LIAR! Each time I see a Gay Pride Parade...awash in God's heavenly Rainbow...it sickens me...I can only imagine what it does to our LORD... and now...2 or 3 weeks ago one of the abominations that will make her desolate...has taken place... right smack down the middle of King David Boulevard , Jerusalem...
A Gay Pride March....DISGUST and SHAME!
These are my views...What are yours?

What is there to be said? You've already superseded any thinking, spiritual, or scriptural response with this:
| Quote: | | You can call me a homophobe or intolerant...it matters not...and I care not... |
Genesis 9:8-17 Then God spoke to Noah and to his sons with him, saying, (9) Behold, I establish My covenant or pledge with you and with your descendants after you (10) And with every living creature that is with you--whether the birds, the livestock, or the wild beasts of the earth along with you, as many as came out of the ark--every animal of the earth. (11) I will establish My covenant or pledge with you: Never again shall all flesh be cut off by the waters of a flood; neither shall there ever again be a flood to destroy the earth and make it corrupt. (12) And God said, This is the token of the covenant (solemn pledge) which I am making between Me and you and every living creature that is with you, for all future generations: (13) I set My bow [rainbow] in the cloud, and it shall be a token or sign of a covenant or solemn pledge between Me and the earth. (14) And it shall be that when I bring clouds over the earth and the bow [rainbow] is seen in the clouds, (15) I will [earnestly] remember My covenant or solemn pledge which is between Me and you and every living creature of all flesh; and the waters will no more become a flood to destroy and make all flesh corrupt. (16) When the bow [rainbow] is in the clouds and I look upon it, I will [earnestly] remember the everlasting covenant or pledge between God and every living creature of all flesh that is upon the earth. (17) And God said to Noah, This [rainbow] is the token or sign of the covenant or solemn pledge which I have established between Me and all flesh upon the earth.
I'm just trying to find where the 'rainbow' has any special scriptural consideration other than a sign of God's promise not to destroy the world by flood again...
Perhaps we should expand this post to include the condemnation of leprechauns and anyone else who draws pictures of, or makes stickers of or other representations of, rainbows... |

Maybe we should assert that Judy Garland is condemned as well since she sang about a place 'over the rainbow'... |

The LORD's Will...Will be done! ...and no...I don't want that...On the contrary... I want everyone to live their "make-believe" they're happy lives...flaunting the most reprehensible ...flamboyant behavior in the face of the Almighty..SERIOUSLY! I do...Well...because I couldn't stop them ...if I wanted to ...Look ..I don't have a hell to put anyone into...nor do I have a heaven to place anyone in either...I just marvel with a gaped mouth ...their brazen disrespect for the reality that there is a Righteous God who will judge ALL...and He calls their actions/lifestyle an Abomination...they regard neither God nor man... Well...considering the subject at hand ...man may be they only thing truly regarded...but I digress...Let all who openly ...brazenly ...choose to live a life of sin... regardless of what the sin is...before the eyes of God...what is there really for me to say? Their consciences have been seared ...Their minds ...according to the WOG have been turned "reprobate"... meaning "Irrevocably Turned":
Rom 1:26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:
Rom 1:27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.
Rom 1:28 And even as they did not like to retain God in [their] knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient
...and that being the case...there is nothing I can or could do about them or for them ...God has turned their minds...what can anyone do to reverse what God Himself has done?javascript:emoticon(' ')Cool
Hummmmmm?javascript:emoticon(' ')Wink |

The very fact that God created it for His good purpose... why would one support the co-opting of a heavenly symbol of God's promise...for such hellish deeds? |

Get real!...Judy singing a fanciful son...about a fanciful place...in the fantasy mind of a young girl ... is about as analogous to Gays co-opting God's rainbow and making it their symbol of solidarity ...as ...Balim was to Ninevah...It just doesn't fit...Be an apologist for them doing this all you want...But I am on the LORD's side and will not apologize for His Word!...Under NO circumstances! |

If you are seemingly so concerned with His Word then why don't you take off the judgment hat and follow His commands and demonstrate love and preach the Gospel. |

I knew it! I never read this thread until I saw it in the new post list, and wouldn't have had I not thought that perhaps you were referring to the rainbow—and there it is.
I'm curious as to why this is in the Christian Fellowship Forum. We do have a Homosexuality and the Bible forum, after all. |

Hi StElsewhere,
Thanx for being honest.
But as you already know, God wants us to be honest in Love or speak the truth in Love:
So do you love yourself as gay?
I ask that questiion because to speak the truth in Love to gays, you first have to love gays, and to love gays, you first have to love yourslef as one.
And would you love God if he were gay?
Do you have any conditions on your Love for God such as he can't be gay or he can't be a liar or he can't be wahtever?
Or, do you lvoe God unconditionally and so have NO conditions on your Love for God,.... you wd love Him no matter what?

So do you love yourself as intolerant?
I love myself as intolerant so I can love you as intolerant and show you that worse than being intolerant is hating being so; if I hated you as intolerant, I wd be intolerant of your intolerance and so be intolerent myself.
And do you love yourself as a homophobe?
in Love of you as tolerant, as a homophobe and as gay,
atoz |

very well then..but just remember...being grumpy is not enough...the apple trees have delicious, heathy fruit, that is desired by all hungry wayfarer's who pass by...
if one doesn't possess these fruits...they can't truly be the tree... |

I made a statement of fact..If i have erred in any way...please correct me...Did not God create the rainbow for His good purposes? ...Have not the Gays co-opted that very same rainbow as their banner of solidarity?
What did I get wrong? ...Self righteousness
What did I say that as "self righteous"? I said I get sick to my stomach...and that is self righteous? You sound as if I wrote the WOG...I don't have a hell to toss anyone in...and I don't have a heaven to send anyone into ... I state a fact...admittedly...a hard fact for some to swallow...but a fact nonetheless! |
