If we accept the idea that Satan (or Lucifer) was an angel of light and lived in heaven before the fall, then he would know God far better than we humans know God.
Like a mob lawyer know knows every nook and cranny of the law and will keep their client out of prison. Satan will use the law and the condemnation of the law to drive us away from God. Like an advertiser who makes ad, they know just how far they can go without violating our "rights." Satan's knowledge of the law is not for his benefit but for our loss.

Very interesting view point...and you are so right...How do you think satan was able ...during the war which was in heaven...to steal the Keys to Sin and Death? ...Those keys were part of the things that were restituted or returned by Jesus when He went to hell to preach to captivity...He had to take back what was stolen because it was not just the hearts and minds of a third of the angels...the WOG says:
Act 3:21 Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began.  |
