Very Happy
I was just talking to the wife about these threads. She got quite a kick out of it. She wanted to know what Gods word says when it means to be baptised in WATER...does it say 'baptised in fruit juice' or something Very Happy

The meaning being how far are we going to go with this metaphorical/allegorical nonsense?
Cant we take even a single word from scripture as meaning EXACTLY what it says ? Very Happy

I dont know about the rest of you, but Ill keep teaching that believers in Jesus Christ are to be baptised in WATER where they are physically able to do so Very Happy

Then answered Peter, (47) Can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized, which have received the Holy Ghost as well as we? (48) And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord. Then prayed they him to tarry certain days.

ah, yeah....this will be my last post on baptism here.

One side wants to completely remove it from the church even tho it is instructed and the other side makes it so absolutely required that only by written permission of God Himself can the physically handicapped get out of being baptised for fear of going to hell Very Happy

You all have a great day Smile
