The Roman Empire was in charge when Christ was here the first time, and they will be in charge when He returns...

God bless,

The Lord told us to look for the Blessed Hope. He encouraged us to be joyful as we await the
Bridegroom who may call us up at any time. Scripture after scripture after scripture instructs us to look to Israel as God's timepiece. Jesus listed the signs of the times for us and we are to recognize them, NOT deny them. We are to know the difference between the church and national Israel and celebrate Israel's future deliverence. Pretribbers strive to obey all of these wonderful things.

.You are absolutely right about the Catholic church...the bible says so.
However, the Nation of Israel is not God's timepiece...but spiritual Israel, found in Revelation 12:17 and Rev. 14:12.

Excuse me, are we talking about the Roman Empire or the catholic church? The two are hardly the same. There was no catholic church in Jesus' time and no 'Roman Empire' in our time. So what are you two trying to say?

The Popes took over where the Caesars left off.

To understand the revived roman empire you must look in the book of daniel the feet of the statue to be precise.

Oh, I understand now! It means whatever we want it to mean in order to push forth our own pet theories...

kindgo,
would you explain what you mean by, "who may call us up at any time."
i would much appreciate it. thank you. jim
p.s. if you would, also, explain what was meant by, "pretribbers strive to obey all these wonderful things." what i'm asking on the latter part is, as opposed to who?

Just look at the statue the feet of clay/iron is the revived roman empire. The EU fits the bill because during acient times iron was commonly used to repesent war and clay commonly used for peace. Not to mention the EU and roman empire are almost carbon copies of each other in both region and land control controled.

Don't you know anything? The old Pope even looked like Cesear without the wreath on his head. So now the truth is known, the Pope is not the line of Peter, but of Cesear. And furthermore, the names Roman Empire and Roman Catholic both have the word Roman in them.

I guess I should study the book of Revelations more... or perhaps just open it up on my desk and then start thinking up whatever I want, and pretend that I have divine inspiration that will somehow eventually prove to the world that I have cracked the code and can tell specifically when the end of days will be....

Then I could just get rid of my whole bible because it would be worthless... since it tells me know one can know when, and my own wisdom and intelligence tells me that I can figure it out.... must mean my bible is wrong, and of course useless... just throw it away and start spreading my own 'gospel'.
