I almost missed this. TSS may have a good point.
I guess it depends on what you want to do. This is a great board and a great site but you can get really bogged down and side-tracked with issues totally unrelated to what you seem to be looking for.
The other board is a 'sister board' that focuses more on Christian issues and studies. You can do that on this board too but you have to be careful of the snares and pitfalls. There are some on this board who would love to convince you that God does not exist, that evolution is a fact and not a theory or that there is no way to know if God exists. I would challenge you to give God, Jesus and the bible a chance first before allowing other influences to cloud your judgement.
If you are thinking of becoming a Christian, I would tell you that you need to really focus on studying the bible and ask lots of questions. There are areas of this board that are set up specifically for bible study and Christian discussion. There are a lot of people on this board who have strong faith and are very well-versed in the scriptures if you are willing to learn more about Christianity.

Since your only comment to Ana's statement was amen, then I guess I wasn't saying it was you who said otherwise. And Ana's conversation is about God.
Ana's statement implies that there is no evidence of the existence of God. Thus my statement. If the person we are speaking to is unfamiliar with the territory, do we want to make it more convoluted? There is unbelief and there is unbelief, but that's a conversation for people who have a fair understanding of scripture.

well then allow me to clarify my point on the matter...
i was agree with the statement i quoted...as it was quoted...and only that statement...not the whole of the post it was taken from...i.e. i was not taking her side over yours and nor was i taking mojo's side over ana's....
but yes...my view and voice was not appropriate for the current conversation....i will see my self right the heck out of this one...
see?...i can be reasoned with from time to time... |

I'm going to move the last few posts into Noah's lounge where we can..............well........lounge around and drink coffee and discuss this in a friendly manner.
I probably won't respond to either of your posts today as my brain is fried from working on the income tax all day, but hopefully soon.
Besides, I have to see who is being kicked off of American idol tonight and then there's LOST. I love that show.
