here we go again

Well it seems that the company we decided to go work for a few months ago really isn't working out. In fact we are so in debt right now I could just give up and go to the bankruptcy man and say do your magic.

However,
Mark and I have been in orientation for another company the last three days and tomorrow we will find out if we have been hired on. The tractor passed inspection but the trailer didn't. We don't know what's wrong with it yet or how much it's going to cost to get it fixed...(a nickel at this point would be too much.. Rolling Eyes

)

Anywho...

Just wanted to ask if you would pass it on up with your prayers a good word to the Lord for us that all goes well tomorrow.

If it does then Mark and I will probably be heading to CA. My internet service for my laptop I had to default the payments on temporarily so I may not be here for a couple days/weeks..don't know yet.

It's been a very rough 1st quarter this year but I'm sure things will turn around... Very Happy

, just take some patients and time and a whole lot of money LOLOL...

So just asking for your prayers and just letting you know if you don't see me for a couple days you won't worry.. Wink

Lone,

I'm sorry to hear about your financial difficulties, I know how much a stress these kinds of issues can be. I'm familiar with the ups and downs of contract work as well, so I hope I can be of some encouragement, I will surely pray for you and your family, and believe that everything will work for your benefit regardless as to what happens tomorrow. You already know the scriptures and the promises of God, I just want to encourage you any way that I possibly can.

He specifically favors us because of the covenant we have through his son, he looks at our hardships and delivers us out of them all. He's our provider our hope lies within him; he's able to provide beyond anything we think to ask him. Everything belongs to him his riches are have no limits,he gives with good measure. I believe there is a scripture that says something to the effect of God will not hold any good thing from you, I can’t find it right now, but just know that you are in my prayers.

Thanks you guys..

One of the problems we ran into is that I hold a CDL-A license. And in order to go as a passenger/rider with Mark, according to their insurance I can't hold one. So I have to go to the dmv and change that. I went down today but because I have no vision in my right eye...which according to NH you can pass the eye exam if you can read two out of three columns, but with FL you have to have all three or go the eye doctor and get a written statement of what my eyesight is..20/20...20/?????..

We have to replace two sets of breaks and two tires on the trailer..$$$... Shocked

And we just had a windshield replaced the other day for $200..now they tell us we have a pinhole size crack in the other windshield and need to get that fixed also..

But...other than that..everything went fine today. All we had to do was quit one company and turn in our old plates and signs and they would give us new ones tomorrow.

But, if we drive down the road with no licence, signs, and insurance...GUESS who would be the BEST candidate on the road to get stopped driving home.. Razz

So we said..tomorrow while the vehicle is in our yard we will remove everything and then get the new stuff tomorrow and put it on...they went..hhhmmmppphhh...LOL

So Mark is outside right now replacing breaks and of course it's after 5pm so there's no eye doctors to call after hours so everything is going to be crunched together tomorrow.

Other than that...the sun was shining today. The weather was awesome. The guys we baught the truck from are giving us another week to come up with the truck payment...$1600 bucks..LOL... My house insurance policy is due tomorrow. We're two months overdue on our property taxes.. Razz

I need to register and inspect and insure my car by the end of this month... Laughing

And I haven't heard back from the tax man yet as to whether we owe or get a refund...or if we have gotten an extension..
I can almost guess which one it will be... Razz

So the best case scenerio is...we sign on tomorrow, they have a good paying load ready and waiting to go, we pick up tomorrow and deliver Monday so we can turn the paperwork in and get paid by thursday...

Only problem is..most of the loads we will be pulling are coming out of CA.... Laughing

..not really next door neighbours LOL...

I have to admit one thing though...God never let's our lives get too boring..thats for sure..LOL..

I'm not worried, and hey, I've been through it all before. I know you can only go so far down before you have to come up sometime. And up until the last few months we been hanging in there ok. The way the freight is and the fuel costs and the regulations are, well that's just par for the course.

Things will turn around. God never lets us down. He just tests our faith and patience. I have some, but Mark, Rolling Eyes

Well, that's what God gave him me for... Very Happy

Thanks for keeping us in your thoughts and prayers. If all goes well, I might be able to get reconnected on the laptop and keep in touch with you guys. But if not, don't worry...I'LL...BE...BACK... Laughing

Lone honey, I have prayed for you & Mark & will continue to pray. I know that you know that you must turn it over to the Lord! God will help you thru these hard times. The Lord has a way of changing everything for good. So I just feel that He will see you through this financial situation.

We got our first load to CA, and now we're on our return journey to the east coast..
NJ, PA, MD, DE.

Hopefully we will get a load to NH so I can get my licence changed, and then I won't have to worry about going with Mark. They gave me a 30 day pass to ride until I get it changed.

At least I don't need 20/20 vision there. Razz
