Wow! I wonder what was in that last post that wasn't said many times in the posts of others?

Nothing.

PEACE

Isa 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

Isa 52:7 How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace; that bringeth good tidings of good, that publisheth salvation; that saith unto Zion, Thy God reigneth!

Luk 1:79 To give light to them that sit in darkness and [in] the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace.

Luk 24:36 And as they thus spake, Jesus himself stood in the midst of them, and saith unto them, Peace [be] unto you.

Jhn 14:27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

Jhn 16:33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

Very Happy

You probably did refer to a lot of the same passages, but you did not make sense ! It was a lot of mumble jumble and did not come straight to the point. And also if you read the article I posted with discernment, I do not think you are saying the same thing.

57, I'm sorry that you found the Word of God to be mumble jumble, or that your could not see the point.

I have high reverence for the word of God when it is rightly divided. I could not see your point and I am not conviced you know what the gospel is, you have not articlated it to me.

The GOSPEL is what the Apostles preached. What also Jesus Christ preached.

What is it? If we look at 1 Corinthians 15:1-2,

1 Corinthians 15:1-2

Now I make known to you, brethren, the gospel which I preached to you, which also you received, in which also you stand,

by which also you are saved, if you hold fast the word which I preached to you, unless you believed in vain.

...

If you noticed, Apostle Paul was speaking here to the Christians in Corinth.

The Christians in Corinth stand on the gospel. They received it.

By it, they are saved... if they hold fast THE WORD WHICH APOSTLE PAUL PREACHED UNTO THEM...

So it's the preaching of the apostles, the word of God, which the Christians in Corinth received and stand.

It's the doctrines, the laws, the commandments, the good news, that Jesus Christ was crucified and died because of sins of men.

Option one says that the gospel is the story of Jesus' death, burial, and resurrection, which results in one being saved if they only believe in the Christ.

The True Gospel message is far, far, more then just what is stated above.

Option one.....is only PART of the Gospel message.....why do people ignore the rest of it ?

The Bible lays out the 'conditions' that MUST be met to gain eternal life.
How many people understand what they are ?

The Gospel mesage, revolves around the Commandments of God.

Does anyone believe that that is a Biblical statement ?

Do you have a question as to where Jesus Christ fits into the scenerio ?

OR...do you understand the Bble enough, to know where Jesus Christ comes into play.

It is only a lie in your eyes, my dear.
Once you willingly understand the Bible......

Hebrews 8:10 For this [is] the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:

Abraham was under the New Covenant.....as was Noah.....as was Moses....as was Adam & Eve.....as was.....King David.......as was.....EVERYONE who was saved in the Old Testament times.

Salvation, is NOT exclusively New Testament theology.
God has NEVER changed how salvation works, from the OT, to the NT.
