That's really about it. Everyone already knows that we got all of the modern varieties of dogs over the course of the last 17,000 years (or less, of course) from wild animals. Now people are doing it with foxes and in just 45 years they've got at least one distinct breed!
I'm not really trying to make a point with this, anyway. Here's a few more, the domestication of foxes apparently actually goes back to the 1800s.
