| Alot of gay people today are proud of being who they are and believe homosexual love is alright if it"s consenual? Are the bible thumping quotes we use making ourselves look ignorant and being harsh and merely use the bible as a weapon to hold down homosexuals? |

| Love, whether homosexual or heterosexual, if not God-centered is anti-Scriptural. |

And what about a gay couple who got married in a church by an ordained priest... Is their love God-centered? |

I am going to step out on a limb here and most likely get the criticism of my brethren. But I am of the opinion that two men can have a true and pure love for each other.
I think the difficulty comes in the way in which they want to express that love and the way in which they deal with that love. This is where the disagreement with Scripture normally comes in. But people, Christians, often confuse the matter. They believe that since the Bible forbids a specific way in which people can express or deal with their love (namely homosexual sex) that therefore the Scripture likewise forbids the love. I don't think this is the case. |

One thing that nobody ever seems to want to talk about is exactly what the Bible does forbid with respect to homosexuality.
As I understand things, as far as the Bible is concerned, lesbians can do anything they want.
What about homosexual men, though? Is it just sodomy, or are all homosexual sex acts forbidden? |

I think that it is not so much an outright condemnation of specific acts that homosexuals do, but rather it is a command of how sex should be, and their's is a perversion.
What I mean is yes, the act of two men together is specifically condemned in a couple different places within Scripture, but I don't think one needs to plead to those Scriptures to know homo-sex is wrong.
Scripture gives us an idea of what marriage should be 'man and woman'. It likewise tells us that sex outside of this ordained union is forbidden.
Therefore, it is common sense to tell you that if two men cannot get married, then they cannot have sex that is sanctioned. |

It is so simple yet the world tries to make it so complicated don't they Adam?
One should simply look at the common sense of scripture and not involve oneself in the vain 'justifications' and qualifications needed to make right the sins of the flesh. |
