I think knowing salvation is there and refusing it until you are dying - then trying to get your 'fire insurance' would fall under the auspices of blaspheme of the Spirit...
Anyone else thinking this? |

Be safe, and be strong in your faith, as I am strong in my faith
Hi Fake,
One thing I am not understanding here. You said you had no faith in a previous post and now you are telling us to be strong in ours as you are in yours? |

I don't have faith in dieties. I have a faith in that there is no dietis. I cannot prove my faith to be correct any more than you can prove your faith to be correct. Thus I do have a faith, and I'm strong in my faith
My comment mainly derives from the fact that those with a weak faith (belief) tend to get into personal attacks, instead of debating issues.

There's A story told of a missionary who ended up shipwrecked on a remote island where the natives nursed him back to health. For the next twenty years he lived among them and ministered to their needs. When they were sick he nursed them back to health. When they were hungry he taught them to grow food. When they were lonely he kept them company. When they were wronged, he defended them.
Later, when when other missionaries came and talked about Jesus, the islanders insisted Jesus was already there, living among
them. When the new missionaries were introduced to "Jesus,"
they discovered that he was none other than their old friend they thought was dead!
You see it is our actions that people notice more so than our words!
We can claim Christianity, but if our works/actions don't show it somethings wrong! Don't you think?
With Love,
Nobby |
