Moore has his faults, and I certainly don't agree with everything he says.
But seriously, you're on Reagan's side on the Berkeley crackdown?
Remember, he said this:

These were a bunch of hippies planting flowers and protesting the Vietnam war! The situation was under control and the university was dealing with it!
Do you guys believe in free speech or not? Because clearly Reagan didn't. How can you support his actions and orders in Berkeley??? |

If these were just Hippies planting flowers and protesting the war it wouldn't have been a problem... now would have it? There is always more to these issues than just what one side wants portrayed... always! |

If these were just Hippies planting flowers and protesting the war it wouldn't have been a problem... now would have it? There is always more to these issues than just what one side wants portrayed... always! |
Well, find me an alternative account of events which shows how evil these hippies were, and I'll read it.
I claim that Reagan's quote calling for blood to be spilled shows exactly what his attitude was like. Spilling American blood on American soil in order to crush free speech! Does it get any more un-American than that?!? |
