You are now a member of "The Omega Study Group" Welcome to our group!
All you have to do is go back to the Forum Index Page, scan down just past this forum, you should now be able to see The Omega Study Group. Go to the thread we have set aside to talk to each other (discussion room) and post so I'll know if you are entered all right! See You there.

Hi Capt',
Each has different members, usualy around six in a group.
Each group sulect what they want to study. So that's different.
Have you found the Alpha Study Group yet?
The names have nothing to do with the study. Just to be able to tell one from the other.
Would you do me a favor? I'm a moderator & there's things I can see on the board that the rest can't. In the upper right-hand corner just above Login/Logout you'll see Usergroups. You should be able to bring out the groups & see who the members are.
Let me know will you? _________________ Much Love Nobby

How do I get into the mix of things here? I think I posted an entirely new message instead of replying to this one on my first try. Sorry guys. Let me introduce myself. I'm Manushka from Hollywood, Florida. I am 20 years old. I attend Norwich University in Vermont. My major is nursing and I'll be commisioned in the US Army upon graduation. I want to join a Bible study group that is for beginners, if any exist. I'm new to studying the Bible and would love any advice anyone has to offer. Thanks! _________________ IN LOVE THROUGH CHRIST OUR SAVIOR,

Hi Manushka,
Welcome to our Board! Yes you are more than welcome to be in one of our study groups. We are making some changes and it will be a few days
& I'll set it up. These are private groups, you won't be able to see the study group form until I set it up. They are small groups, I will allow as many as 10 in a group. One group I believe has 9 & one has 5 > Kinda lopsided I know, I'll probably put you in the one with 5. We don't really have a beginners group but it is something to think about! Give me a few days I'll get back with you. _________________ Much Love Nobby

Hello Bridget,
Yes I'm sure I can find a place for you in one of our Studies.
We have two operating studies, & one new one standing idle. (I haven't taken any members yet)
I am called Nobby (nickname) I am your board Moderator.
I don't want to seem nosey, but if would I would like to know a little about you. Nothing personal. But sometimes when I know were you stand on your walk with Christ, I can know better where to place you in a study.
I'll be looking for you to answer my post.
God Bless You,
Nobby

Hi,
I have been looking for a bible study group online and so glad to finally find a site. I've been saved for many years and look forward to a different style of meeting people and studying God's word.
I look forward to a reply in joining a group.
God bless,

Couldn't resist... Sorry Nobby et all
I am though curious as to why everyone (well, so it seems) assume you have to be christian, or believe in God to study the bible...

P.S. No, I do not wish to join a group, I'd be more of a pest to the other people in the group than I am on the board itself, since I do not share the belief of God with the other participants. _________________ I contend that we are both atheists. I just believe in one fewer god than you do.
