GIANTS

Hallo everybody

I've recently seen an interesting article on GIANTS and evidence held by the Smithsonian Institute, recording the existence of GIANTS on the earth, SINCE THE FLOOD
This is not talking about occassional persons suffering from 'giantism' but whole tribes, in America, Australia, China and many other places
Having recently written a study on GIANTS, using Biblical references, I would be interested to get any opinions on the origin of these beings
Some suggest they are descendants of Seth, through daughters of men, but there is no Bible to support this
I am hard core K.J.V. and am interesed to see if any others see the connection betwixt Cain, who went to the land of Nod, and the GIANTS, who appear to have originated in the land of Nod
Where did they come from, who is their progenitor and why are Christian Bible discussion groups so scared of considering these issues

Genesis Chp 6; and in Numbers Chp 13, the sons of Moses surveyed the lands around them and found giants (really big ones)...

This is also a story in the Torah (not KJV OT) about when Satan (and his fellow rebellious angels) were cast out of heaven, they wandered the earth and bred with human women....their offspring were giants....guess they must have all been born mules Wink

That's the point bro., the article I read is from recent studies, including photos,which were originally sourced, as I understand, from records of the Smithsonian Institute, and is dealing with GIANTS found, in America and other nations, as recently as the mid 1800's

What is interesting is where the GIANTS first come from.
According to Scripture, the land of NOD, which is where Cain went to live after getting kicked out of home is where they are first mentioned
I have heard a number of theories on the genetic line of giants but most church people regard such talk as heretical
There are a couple of web sites on giants which are worth investigations also

Just an aside, it's interesting to note that David and his mighty men slew four giants. Goliath, his brother and his two sons. I think they may symbolize the four kingdoms of the world spoken of in Daniel. These races of giants may represent those who are mighty in the flesh. On that token, Cain would certainly be the place to start.

Yes, we understand the theories, but WHERE did they come from, who had the genetic line which produced them
If it were Seth, Adam would have been a giant as Seth was Adam's son
If it wasn't Seth, who farthered them originally?

using the bible as a source, there are 2 possibilities....1) they are the off-spring of the Sons of God that bred with human women. 2) they've always been here and are one of God's creations...just like Cain finding people in the Land of Nod...there's no explanation where they came from either.

Thank you for your enlightening contribution, so now we have GIANTS God MAY have created, without commenting on their creation, they MAY have been sons of the 'sons of God' who came and co-habited with daughters of men, but weren't the 'sons of God' angelic beings who would be incapable of implanting human females with seed of any kind?
They MAY have been of the Nepthalim, they MAY have fallen out of the sky, they MAY have been children of Cain
So far that last concept holds the most logical, Scriptural and comprehensible data
Just one more thought
We find, in Jn.8:34-44, where the Lord Jesus Christ is giving the scholars a lesson in genealogy.
He tells them they are 'of their father, the devil,' which is identical to the way Cain is described in 1 Jn.3:12;
Then the Pharisees respond, Jn.8:41 "They said unto Him, we are not born of FORNICATION,(illegitimate); we have one Father, even God" to which the Lord replied,"IF God were your Father ye would love Me..." you can read it all
Is not Jesus questioning, suggesting God is NOT their father? If so, who is their genealogical forebear?
What is intesting is that Jesus would connect the Pharisees with Cain's father, also, that the Jews deny being children of fornication
Why would they say that and what is the relevance of them being children of fornication?
vs.44 "Ye are of your father, the devil"
That is what the Bible says, not you aren't nice; you are naughty, you are misguided.
He blasted them with an horrific accusation; do you think He didn't know what He was talking about?
Our denominations, churches, are as corrupt as those of Jesus' day here in the flesh
I am not a member of any denomination but am a member of the One CHURCH which has One Head, One Faith, One baptism, One Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, as are ALL CHRISTIANS
The world will be judged by God's Word, NOT by denominational doctrines and, until someone can show, through the Word alone where Cain and the giants come from I'll stick with what has been revealed through His Word
Get out of 'church', get into HIM, the WORD, for in Him alone is TRUTH
