Even though I grew up in a christian household. I have let myself slide in this arena. I will turning 40 in July I am growing tired of living this sinful life and look forward to becoming someone "new" and reborn. I have found some wonderful study guides on the web. But was wondering if their are any good learning guides, tutorials geared toward a new christian. Or would it be just as good to jump in the middle of a study group. Any advice, suggestions would be greatly greatly appreciated.
Thanks and God Bless everyone,
John |

It might not be a good ting to just jump into a study group here, as there are many ideas all preached as truth, often times conflicting with one another.
I would suggest purchasing a study Bible. The commentary in some of them isn't always right on the mark, but it seems to me that you're looking for fundamentals, for which any of the available Bibles would be excellent.
My wife uses the "Open Bible." That one in particular is wonderful. I hope this helped. |

| Yes, many ideas are discussed because it's a public discussion forum. |
