Things like this and this (the first being just the drum track, the second being the song as a whole). But I bet you still wouldn't like it (though probably for wholly different reasons).

FFT, did you make this music? If so, then I'm impressed. How did you make it? |

But if you're not, why did you say this? | zadok17 wrote: | | Music should glorify God I believe. I like all types of music but I abhor derogatory music i.e., RAPP. Heavy Metal,Hard Rock and a whole lot of that other mess that is being called Music these days also not allowed in my House. | I guess if by "house" you're referring to the old "my body is a temple" and whatnot you're in the clear, but is that what you meant?

But seriously, you think gays can't be conservative? And you think being conservative in general has anything to do with the political faction? Number one definition for conservative at dictionary.com (and sums up exactly what was meant in this instance): disposed to preserve existing conditions, institutions, etc., or to restore traditional ones, and to limit change. That sums up quite perfectly the attitude expressed here: | zadok17 wrote: | | Give me some of that good old fashioned, down home gospel like they used to sing in those old country churches. You know, the kind that will make you pat your foot and put your paws together, LOL. I also don't particularly care for this new age Gospel, the kind they call Contemporary, like Kirk Franklin and the like. | And I shouldn't have left in the "ill-tempered; sulky" definition as it doesn't fit. I apologize.

| In my 38 years of playing music, the only "Jesus" song that I have heard and that I like to listen to is by ZZ Top and it's called "Jesus Just Left Chicago". I can't digest all the other “Jesus” songs especially the corny, sappy ones that are just rip-offs of corny, sappy popular tunes. |

So that's why I would probably need at least a few cold Canadian ales just to endure a hymnal let alone remember it. |

It's good to see that our disagreements over the scriptures hasn't too greatly deterred one of my very few remaining fans. |

The Kentucky Headhunters do an excellent scripturally accurate version of this song. |

I'm a big lover of music...I play piano a little by ear. My weakness is late 60's and 70's rock music.
For me personally, the lyrics are what I have to be careful of. Music is powerful, and it has the ability to influence your thought life very easily. I try to steer clear of certain songs because of the messages.
As for the original post concerning 'the beatles', listen close to John Lennons song, "Imagine". It was written before it's time, yet almost prophetically for today.
Yes, it's very ungodly |
