hey guys i just read a news article about the 911 toxic cloud thing...
from what it said...a man by the name of hugh kaufman headed up the epa's inquiry to the gov.'s 911 response....
he said the white house told the epa to substitute reassuring statesments for the cautionary ones in the report...(basically lie...go figure)...
the article said epa admin. christine todd whitman and the white house tried to cover the real danger...and now it would seem some of the first responders to the scene have fallen ill...
has anyone else got anything more to share?...or have you heard anything about this?...any truth here?...please share...

TSS, I find no reason to doubt the veracity of Kaufman's report.

me either at this time...according to kaufman...whitman had a conflict of interest and has investments in port authority bonds...the port authority owns the wtc site....and kaufman said whitman and the white house made a conscience effort to lead the public into believing the air was safe... 
it gets more and more disturbing at every turn...

I saw a 60 Minutes piece on this a week or so ago... quite pathetic.
You have the EPA telling folks to wear masks during the clean up.
You have NYC officials ignoring the EPA and letting people work without protection.
You now have people scrabbling to file lawsuits...
and this all is Bush's fault?
You folks never cease to amaze me with your inability to exercise a smidegen of objectivity in anything dealing with our current administration...

talk of amazing...and now the epa guys themselves are saying you are full of it...and you can say that with those in the "know" saying different...you are a real piece of...
work...
who has shown time and again you have no regard for the truth...
you all but called ritter(the man who was in a position to know) a liar...
now you all but call kaufman...(another man in the know ) ...a liar...
you are deceived...and will answer for your constant denial of the truth and defense of murderers of people and the enviroment.. |

If not... oh well... but it does appear that I was right about the lawyers lining up to get paid...  I meant the victums being treated.

are you saying we should not treat those who were exposed to the danger the bush admin said was not there?...
are you saying we should just ignore the admin's blantant disregard for the health and welfare of those people who put their lives on the line so a lawyer won't get paid?..
that is the most evil and sadistic thing you could believe...is money that important to you tri?...if so then you will perish with it...according to my bible...and a stupid arguement in my opinion...

Noooooo.... but what I am doing is noticing how every ill this country suffers… from your perspective… seems to have 'Bush' either in front of it... or after it. Has this guy done anything right to you?

No... what I am saying is that trial lawyers are some of the most greedy unscrupulous vermin that twist and distort not only the truth... but also the law. I have no use for them. I have seen first hand how they can twist and distort facts to fit their own little perspectives… all for the little people of course… and then walk away with 40% of whatever judgment or settlement they can get. Human debris is all they are.

I could care less about the money... but any time you get these lawyers involved in anything... then money automatically moves right to the front of the line in priorities.
You should have seen that 60 minutes piece. Katy Curric... bless her little heart... who is about as smart as my dog... questioned Kristy Whitman about this issue. Perhaps you ought to look it up instead of being spoon fed more lies upon lies from MOVEON.org.
