I recently discovered an EXCELLENT science show on PBS called ScienceNOW. If you haven't seen it, they discuss a great many interesting topics including stem cells, creating life from non-life (apparently we are VERY close), and all sorts of info on abiogenesis that I hadn't heard before.

The most relevant episode is number 4, but they're all very good.

It really is a very good show; it's entertaining, informative, and they talk with top, cutting-edge scientists from all over the place.

It's the kind of educational show that even kids would like.
