i haven't gone anywhere.i'm just not posting much. you're right about the busy part though.
i challenged my little church (avg. 15-25 each sun.) to get 300 people in 1 sunday morning service. told them i'd shave my head if they could do it. i figured it was pretty safe and i'd win this one. well, they set a date--aug. 13th, they've got the clippers and a towel ready at the front of the church. i'm beginning to think i'm in trouble. now they've advertized it in all the papers.
in another week i could look like nobby's avatar. what ya think nobby is there room for 2 of us?

Gona just shave all your hair off! Would you do it for 295?
Goodness girl you only got 8 days! Would you do it for 290?
Maybe since they're putting it in the paper they will make it, 
Would you do it for 280?

i ain't abraham and you ain't God. (this is supposed to be funny. can't remember the verses, but it's where abraham was asking God how many righteous people had to be in sodom to keep God from destroying it.) gotta be 300 or more.

Hey Sheila!
It is surely a wonderful thing to see you posting on the boards. Will you be shaving your head before or after your sermon? 
I always thought it fun that Paul and a few others had shaven their heads because of vows they made. It seems that the Lord thought it was fun, too, for they had to go through with it.
Depending on how long your hair is... it shouldn't take too long for it to grow back in full. Good luck.

i didn't have to preach. well, ya'll, i still got hair. we had 78 in worship. only 2 of those weren't from the community. there were even some members there who hadn't been in years.
the only bad thing is that now i have to pay for a haircut.
pray for us. the challenge still stands.

Hi Sheila, In-a-way I'm glad you didn't have shave all your hair off,but I sure would've liked for you to have had 299 there!
