Perseverance

Hi all.

I am going through some times of much tribulation, currently, and I need prayer to help me get through them. Though I know that it is all by the Lord's will, and I seek refuge in Him, I hope to get a prayer from a believer to the Lord Jesus Christ on my behalf to give me strength and to persevere.

The fire is hot... so very hot... and I also know that by my tiny strength alone, I will in no way succeed. I am a stranger in a strange land. Please pray for me to not crumble away, but to maintain my faith, and even more so, to receive faith in abundance from the Lord, so that I may do His will, and not mine... not with a heavy heart and a low countenance... but with His light and peace within.

Hi MoJo,

You are always in my prayers.

I was just thinking how it says: and God set some in the church for this and that and the other thing...

If we were all meant to be the same at the start then there would be no need for individualism.
Everybody gets to bring something to the table...
humble pie too....I eat a lot of that. It's good for the soul...soul food.LOL.

But sometimes we take a bite of that hot tamale..yowww..and our tongues get burned all the way down to the belly.

But God is good, humble pie is like ice cream after you have your tonsils removed...it refreshes the spirit and your throat.

I have this stubborn problem..like tss said my high horse.. Confused or disgusted

I took a good look at that and I got so offended, I found a horse with a rider on it and made it my own...oh bother.. Rolling Eyes

The next day I felt so ashamed.. Embarassed

I came down off that high horse and walked with my eyes lowered to the ground. I felt sorry in my heart but it took until today to speak it with my tongue....humility...that's a hard lesson.
But a very good one indeed.

It's ok that we're all different...It adds flavor to the meal.
a pinch of salt, a little pepper, some chili powder, some sugar.....

It's all good...God made all the herbs and seasonings so we could share them together... Very Happy

We all do it brother. It's our nature to rub against eachother the wrong way. The hard part is overcoming it and not letting it get control of the situation....I'm easily provoked and my tongue speaks before I have a chance to tie it up.

Don't worry about withdrawing anything at all tss. When the Lord sees me beginning to get on that high horse he sends those to knock me down before it gets too out of control.
You are a blessing even though it may feel as a curse at the time LOL..

We don't always understand why the Lord does things the way He does, but when we look back and reflect on the matter, we realize he was chastising us for our own good.

Your a tool in His hand the same way everyone else is. To sharpen each other, to help get rid of the dross that hangs on us.
We're not ever really going to all learn to speak the same language while we're here in these bodies. That's a fact that's been here since Cain and Abel. But to get along through these differences, and to just accept people for being different,,,boy that's a hard one isn't it?

Your rough on some things and gentle on others, your funny and not so funny..LOL...
I get mad at you in one post and the next one I read makes me laugh.. Rolling Eyes

I never have been one for holding grudges...that's God's doing. He blessed me with humility a long time ago...just sometimes I forget.
