Goodmorning lone, Smile Smile

My walk in the Spirit began over 35 years ago. One day when the kids were off to school and my husband off to work I was setting on my livingroom couch reading the book of Hebrews. I was totally frustrated with the complexity of the book and I cried out to God to help me understand.

By then I knew that FAITH comes by hearing and hearing by the Word so I told God that I would read chapter 10 until I understood it if it took all day and then some more. Along about the 8th time of reading and meditating seriously in that chapter I saw what it said and things have never been the same for me again. The Word gradually became clearer and clearer. I do understand the book of Hebrews now but it has taken diligence and hours and has not come easy.

I lost all my friends and have stood alone for years accept for my dear daughter whom I am able to have fellowship with every day. I have not counted loosing my friends any kind of sorrow at all.

I have never ask another book or trusted another arm for the truth. The Spirit has revealed it in all humility and truth. We are in the very last day and the world is full of confusion and the churches have fallen back under the law.

I know that this testimony will not tell you how to walk in the FAITH, but it is how I began.

The truth is not a popular one and if one thinks he will meet the approval of other, it probably will not be so. Sad Sad Sad

I pray that you will receive my testimony in the Spirit with which it is given. My great desire is to see everyone that seeks righteousness to be filled.

In Christ, Judy

Hello nana,

I'm glad you came to join this important discussion. It is one that I find most needful and beneficial. Life saving actually, for man can not walk with God any other way.

I have a question to ask...

you wrote this:

We are in the very last day and the world is full of confusion and the churches have fallen back under the law.

How do you see this happening in the churches?
Where do you see the churches walking according to God's laws?

Under the law of works without faith that lead to sin and death, this I see.
Is this what you mean?

But walking according to the law that comes by faith in His Son Jesus which is the Light and Truth of God's word...

This I haven't seen yet.

would you explain what you meant so I would understand how to hear you..

Thankyou nana
God Bless
Lone

Hi lone,

Quote:
We are in the very last day and the world is full of confusion and the churches have fallen back under the law.

Do you remember when Paul said to the Corinthians (I 3:2), "I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able to bear it, neither yet now are ye able. For ye are yet carnal: for whereas there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not carnal, and walk as men?"

Look at the divisions in Christiandom. Those who claim to be Christians cannot agree on the most simple doctrines. There are Methodists, Epsicopalians, Nazareens, Baptists and the list goes on, not one in agreement, not even among their own 'faith'.

Why? because they are trying to align their doctrine with the carnal mind. They are carnal and walk as men, that is easy to see.

The Spiritual mind is contrary to the Carnal mind, so that if we do not come into agreement that the Word is our complete and total guide to all things of the Spirit of God then we are lost and will never see eye to eye.

Every man has a different opinion as to what the Word says. It is hopeless. You can see from the debate forum that mankind is miserably confused and a devourer his own right arm.

One cannot see that the churches have gone back under the law until you see righteousness. Your eyes will be blinded. The only way that the vail (that vail represents the flesh) can be taken away from one's eyes is to believe that salvation was for every man and that sin in the flesh was cleansed once and for all.

Beloved Lone, if you can see this truth, this perfect love will wipe away all fear.

Why are the churches under the law? because the churches preach that you are born in sin, that you are a sinner. Their eyes are blinded by the reading of the O.T. Sin is the transgression of the law. The dispensation of GRACE is freedom from sin by the sacrafice of Christ.

Romans 6:22, "But now being made [b]free from sin
, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life."

The churches teach that you are continually cleansed of sin. That teaching should not be in the churches of Christ. Why? because that is what the blood of bulls and goats did.

But Christ was once offered for the sins of the people once and for all and that beloved should render to us a pure conscience which is the bottom line to our glorious salvation. What the blood of bulls and goats could not do, Christ did once and for all.

Hebrews 10:12-14, "But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God: From henceforth expecting till his enemies be made his footstool. For by one offering he hath perfected forever them that are sanctified."

Lone, do you believe that you have been perfected forever by the sacrifice of Christ, or do you believe that you are in sin? How easy it is to believe our flesh over the Spirit. How easy it is to say, I am just a poor sinner saved by grace and how hard it is to say "I am complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power."

This is the difference between the dispensation of the law and the dispensation of GRACE. This is the difference in walking in the Spirit and walking under the law.

I pray that your eyes will be open and that you will see the POWER OF THE RESURRECTION!

In Christ, Judy

I believe that I have been taken out from the sin of transgressing the law, and that I have been given liberty to walk in righteousness which is of the law. But under the law of sin and death..I am Not.

And if we do sin, then we are not automaticaly stoned to death with no mercy by the hands of men, or are required to bring any sacrifices to the altar other than our humbleness and plea for forgiveness, which Christ says that through His sacrifice has been shed on all mankind.
Because Christ is the mediator, the Grace of God, the Mercy of God poured out on mankind, I can come before God through Christ and recieve forgiveness for any sins that I may commit.

Am I perfect?
I know that I have been perfected, but I don't see it as yet. As long as I am in the flesh, then the truth of that which is spiritual in me, still remains hidden. Even though I see the truth, It's not as clear as it aught to be.
I am still being perfected while I am in this earthly body. For it is this flesh which causes one to sin.
As long as I reside within this physical tabernacle, then the spiritual one that already has been created is unclear, in that the flesh is unable to percieve with it's earthy eyes this spiritual truth.

So as long as I remain in Christ and walk in His truth, and do not stray from His path that He has told us to walk in, then I am complete in Him..every wit complete..except this flesh.
Yet if I stray and turn my foot from walking in His path this path of righteousness that He died to show me..literally.. Then if I do not turn back, and repent, and come humbly before the one who laid this grace and mercy and truth before me, then those sins that I commit will stick to me like grime and sludge. And I will be judged by them in that Day.
However, If I turn, and repent from any sins that I have done, even hidden ones that God shows us, and I come before the one who brought us Grace and Mercy then he is just and full of mercy to forgive us our sins.

There is a broad path...and there is a narrow path...
And this narrow path is narrow indeed. And many who are on the wide path scoff and ridicule those who are on the narrow path, just as Our Lord Jesus Christ said they would.
But we are not to be offended. And if they smite you on the right cheek then give them the left also, because in the end, God will look upon those who have recieved the smiting and those who have given the smiting, and He will judge accordingly.

As long as I remain in His councel, and in His understanding and in His wisdom, there is no Fear.
But when one chooses to walk according to their own knowledge of what is good or evil, and when they truly realize that their way is not God's way. Then there is a fearful looking over one's shoulder of judgement from God, for not walking the way He said to walk.

nana,
most of the divisions in christendom are due to the fact that most religions see a deed which they do with their own hands which they believe will save themselves.
This one says sprinkle, this one says dunk, this one says you don't need it, this one says without it your lost for all eternity.

It's the works and traditions that lead them away from the truth in walking God's way. Only God can save. And that is from the inside out.

Am I saying that one should not be sprinkled or dunked or that this doesn't lead them to understanding God's will?
No I am not.
But to argue whether it be this way or that...isn't it this arguing that is folly in itself?

This one says my way...that one says, no do it this way...but nobody is listening to what God says His way is. They all lean on their own understanding of what God's will is, instead of leaning on God himself.

nana,
I hope this answered a couple of your questions.. Confused or disgusted

Am I perfect? In Spirit, His Spirit, I am. Can I see this with my flesh? Not yet, because the flesh is sinful.
Am I sinfree? The day I truly believed Christ wiped the slate of sin before me clean and white as snow.
Will I always remain sinfree? That depends on if I keep to his paths, and his ways.
But if I fall, I know that I am no longer at the mercy of men and their judgements, but I stand before the Mercy of God, who loves me and has called me to Himself.

God Bless nana,
Lone
