Reocurring sin

Would you all please pray that I may develop the discipline and will power to overcome a particular sin that frequently occurs in my life and is really eating away at me?

Drewgie, if you are having problems with some sin, and when you do sin, pick yourself up and say something like I declare that sin in the name of Jesus gone from me. Eventually if you keep saying this, then the Word you have said will drop into your spirit, and finally the sin will go away from you. Doesn't the Bible say God's mercy endureth. Doesn't it say we are forgiven seven times seventy? God will fulfill what He started in you.

Drewgie, I had a problem with smoking for over a year after I was saved.
Well he finally took them away from me! But not before I had done much damage to my lungs. You see I knew it was wrong, but I wouldn't quit. We always pay for ours sins, now I'm on Oxgen 24 hours aday.
God loves you & He will help you, but you've got allow Him to. He won't force His way on you.
