Tts 1:16 They profess that they know God; but in works they deny [him], being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.

This is how I'm understanding the spirit of the law...

There are many thoughts and imaginations in the world that are against the knowledge of God. These are those thoughts we go to war with. When we have those thoughts in our possession then we are to bring them into submission to the word of God.
Once we have humbled these thoughts and we don't care to keep them captive within ourselves, we are able to cast them away and let them go free...
To me this means sharing how God has worked in our lives to clean up our inward man.
But we are not to take that knowledge, those thoughts which have been cleaned and made pure and make merchandise of them. Not to sell it for gain. for those thoughts themselves have been made pure and to be given freely. Those thoughts no longer belong to you seeing that you submitted them to God, they now belong to him.

Good Post!

1. (Acts 24:16) And herein do I exercise myself, to have always a conscience void of offence toward God, and toward men.

2. (1Timothy 1:19) Holding faith, and a good conscience; which some having put away concerning faith have made shipwreck:

AS WE are in Christ Jesus, WE must maintain a Good Conscience! IT IS OBVIOUS that we cannot Repair all the damage we have done, and YET part of our Walk with Christ, IS TO DO WHAT - WE CAN!

A. (Jam 5:4) Behold, the hire of the labourers who have reaped down your fields, which is of you kept back by fraud, crieth: and the cries of them which have reaped are entered into the ears of the Lord of sabaoth.

AN EMPLOYER, can go back and MAKE THE RIGHT WRONG - To his employees, that He did not treat FINANCIALLY RIGHT! He can do the right thing, USUALLY AT PERSONAL COST!

B. (Luke 19:8) And Zacchaeus stood, and said unto the Lord; Behold, Lord, the half of my goods I give to the poor; and if I have taken any thing from any man by false accusation, I restore him fourfold.

A PERSON, if they have Wronged someone else, THEY CAN MAKE AMMENDS, as Zach did, I restore him fourfold. IT may not be easy to ask Forgivness or to Restore Something, BUT IT IS ALWAYS RIGHT!

SOMETIMES, the person or persons have moved and Restoration cannot be made Immediately! PRAY TO GOD, and Allow HIM - to open the Door! ALLOW Christ to bring about the Correct Circumstances so that We can CLEAR OUR CONSCIENCE! It may take only = A PHONE CALL = TO ASK FORGIVNESS! IN some cases, THEIR FORGIVNESS and the Offer To Restore - may be enough!

I BOUGHT A motor scooter, many years ago! I owed the guy, $25. and had never paid him the money I owed! ONE year, 8-Years later, I was praying about my Income Tax Refund, and what I was going to do with it! THE LORD, said, ROGER, you owed that $25, SO I doulbed that money to $50 and found him and sent him A Check, and asked for forgivness! He responded, No harm done, I had forgot about it Anyway!

MY witness for Christ, and A CLEAR CONSCIENCE, paid off!

REMEMBER, Satan will Try and USE OUR PAST = TO MAKE US INEFFECTIVE FOR CHRIST! That is why we have = 1John 1:5-to10 -&- Hebrews 9:14 -&- 2Corinthians 5:18-to-21!
