I didn't think this was a forum for argument,
or heated discussion as it's obviously, fastly becoming! We can disagree without making fun of what everyone says. Can't we?
When you take apart someones post and debate every single word they say, that don't belong here at all!!
That belongs on the "Bible Debate Forum".
We really don't need that here!!

Maybe a happy Christian!
Christians can disagree with each other, and still love and respect one another.
We don't have to make fun of each other or be told of our ignorience on a subject.
Leave that to the atheist who believes there
is no God.

Fine newbie, if you don't want others to use the appropriate term that clearly means/identifies anothers obvious lack of sufficient knowledge on a subject(s) then what term would you like us to use?

Certainly when an observation is made it has to be addressed, does it not? After all, knowledge is power. Forewarned is forearmed, right! So, if someone observes that another lacks the knowledge to effectively debate/argue their point on the subject at hand, how should they observe it? Should they be apathetic or is it the way of the three monkeys (See No Evil, Hear No Evil, Speak No Evil) with you?

Hi Nobby,
Yes, this is supposed to be a general discussion forum and not debate, that's why we have the "debate" forum.

I can see that it's very easy for people's comments to turn into debate/feedback, so it's kind of a hard thing to monitor.

I would suggest trying to limit debate posts for the debate forum, and keep this forum for lighter and non-bible related posts. But I think it's always going to mingle a bit.

Let me know if you have any other ideas in the "Suggestion Box".
