Hello Folks,
I borrowed that heading, because it was a subject, that bother's me!
Have you ever felt that some of our Christain Standerds may be slipping some. We set back and talked, and allowed Christanity to taken from our schools!
We send our kids to school and never realy explain to them about sex, & what it is all about. Sometimes telling them it's wrong! But that's not enough. If we don't teach them guess who does?
They learn from each other! Some times first hand!
Would like to hear from others .

Nobby,

I hate to sound like a pessimist, but there's method to my madness. It's already too late. The seculars have such a straglehold on popular thought that there's no way to turn the tide without God doing it. Don't get me wrong; God will do it, just as He describes in His word, which means it won't be pretty.

What will you do when the law says that all children residing in America must attend public schools and/or that all schools' lesson plans must be those produced by the federal Department of Education? Periodic national testing will determine whether your child is progressing as a good conforming socialist globalist as intended by the state or is an "intolerant homophobic religious bigot." (Your child, as a Christian, will not lie in answering the social-oriented test questions, and you as a parent will be held responsible for your child's unacceptable values.) Hillary Klinton and other globalists have already said that it takes a village to raise a child. For those who can't read between the lines, this simply means that non-PC parents may be removed from the parenting formula. Far-fetched? It's already happening. I know of people who have had their children removed from their home and placed with foster parents because of the parents' political beliefs. For those who don't know, there is a tremendous amount of child abuse, much of it sexual, that goes on in foster homes that goes unchecked, but that's another topic.

I don't know if you're aware, but there are those powerful and influential elites out there who are close to achieving their goals for the rest of us similar to what's described above. Do a Google search for "Newstates Constitution" for starters.

Your tax money already goes to support Planned Parenthood programs to teach public school children such things as how to apply condoms and other forms of birth control and to encourage them to explore, and accept as normal, sexual behavior that God considers deviant and evil. In many places school administrators are not required by law to inform parents of such programs ahead of time.

So what will we do when our nation's laws and elected representatives compel us to conform in ways that are contrary to the Bible? You can start underground churches or home groups, but your children will still be in the clutches of globalist brainwashers for about 30 hours a week.

Now add to this that much of what our government is doing, and has been doing since about 1913, is illegal according to the Constitution. Which is it in Romans 13:1-7 and 1Peter 2:13-14 that we are to obey, the written law or the people governing? If it's the laws we should obey, which laws? I ask this because we have hundreds, maybe thousands, of laws that are directly contrary to the Constitution. If it's the people we are to obey, then I ask if those in government, as being established in those positions by God, are not also subject to punishment for "turning to the left and to the right"?

I don't have the answer, but it's something that concerns me.

Phin

That's something I've been saying for quite awhile. As easy as it was for them to get Prayer taken out of school, by simply protesting it and lobbying for it to be removed, we Christians, when we knew it was happening, should have been on our feet protesting back, and even today, should be fighting to have it put back in. It took a handful of non believers to have it removed, but it will take an army of Christians to have it placed back in.

We say that we don't want the schools to teach our children sex, but as parents, are we (parents in general) teaching them? If not, why? Is it because we are ashamed, embarrassed, or what? If we're not going to teach the children, then indeed, someone else will. Parents, Christians, need to take the time, and get over their embarrassment about sexual matters and start talking to our children.

No, I'm not a mother, in the literal sense, because my babies all died before birth, and I was unable to raise them and teach them....but I'm still a mother. So when I say we as parents, that is why.
