The Window
There is a little window
I look through every day.
Where I view many of your loved ones Lord,
That prompts this heart to pray.
It's a window that You gave me Lord
That transcends all time and space.
To recognize each hurting soul
By name... and not by face.
How simple as I sit and look
Upon each name I gaze...
To voice a little prayer for them,
That You might brighten-up their days.
I don't fully know them Lord.
But you fully know each one.
Every heartache, struggle, dream, desire,
Each life that's come undone.
Every crisis-need that is expressed,
And the ones that never are...
Are seen and heard and understood
From Your window afar.
Thank you for my window Lord.
Help me make it a window of prayer.
As I sit and view each name you love,
It reminds me that You're there.
You may wish to speak Your gentle words
Of understanding and kindness from above.
Through this little window Lord, today-
In the way I "speak" Your love.

Lynda,
Thanks for the Poem!
(Psa 119:18) Open thou mine eyes, = that I may behold wondrous things out of Thy Law.
Thanks, RR |
