Friend with Cancer

I ask you all to pray for my friend who has been battling with cancer for the last 2 years. It doesn't look good. Thank you.

Yvette, honey I have prayed for your friend. Our God is a healing God He has Mighty Power. He said ask anything in My Name & it shall be done.

Thank you both. I have been praying for Mike ever since I found out & he's continued to be on our church's prayer list every Wednesday at Bible study. His salvation is such a touching story.

I first met him on a marital recovery board & he hadn' told me about the cancer then. He wanted to concentrate on saving his marriage after infidelity & we became instant friends. He then met my husband & those 2 have corresponded since & spoke on the phone. We're in two different states so we have never met each other in person, only through pictures, e-mails & phone calls. When I first met him, since his marriage was in trouble, he had a difficult time finding God through all of it & wouldn't really want to listen to my words about Jesus & God's saving grace. He had given up on God & really needed to find his way back to Him.

After 1 year, he finally found God again & that's when God granted him his marriage back. Today, he praises God all the time & his marriage is in a great place. They are recovering very quickly, thanks to Almighty God & Michael is at peace. Then, I found out he had cancer. Mike finally revealed it to me. Since then, it has been a mission of ours to get his weight up so we can work on getting him well.

I know God has already granted a miracle in this man's life by recovering his marriage, whom everyone had thought was over, including Mike. I now pray that God intercedes once again & saves his life. If not, if it isn't in God's will, I pray that God make Mike one of his soliders. He's a military man & Mike would be honored to serve on God's squad.

YES, I AM A CANCER SURVIVOR! 5-years ago I had Cancer Surgery and Radiation Treatments! I had 27 nodules in my Neck, and they WERE SURGICALLY REMOVED! I ALSO HAD RADIATION THERAPY! The Radiation Oncologist said, “So tell me, - How Much POT Have You Smoked? I RESPONDED, - I Never Smoked – A Single Cigarette - IN MY ENTIRE LIFE – LET ALONE - ANY POT, - NOR HAVE I EVER BEEN AROUND THOSE THAT SMOKE POT!

MATTER OF FACT: When a Preacher that I know CAME TO PRAY FOR ME – I SIMPLY TOLD HIM – THAT FAITH AND FEAR – CANNOT RESIDE - IN THE MIND – AT THE SAME TIME! Faith Rules –OR- Fear Rules!

(Romans 10:17) So then Faith cometh by Hearing, -AND- Hearing – [ONLY] - BY THE WORD OF GOD.

(Romans 8:28) And we know that ALL THINGS [the Good and the Bad] Work Together For Good – TO- them that love God, - TO- them Who are -the called- According To HIS Purpose.

(1John 4:18) There is no fear in love; but Perfect Love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He [or she] that feareth – IS NOT - made perfect in love.

YOU – EITHER HAVE FEAR –OR- YOU HAVE FAITH! Real Faith – IS ALWAYS – BASED ON THE WORD OF GOD! And NOT on what someone – Told You About!

WHY DID GOD NOT HEAL ME IN RESPONSE TO PRAYER? *** I have - NEVER ASKED THIS QUESTION! *** Nor DID I PRESUME - On GOD - TO DO SO! HE IS GOD! Perhaps you Could Read - Isaiah 6:1-5 and see his response TO GOD?

(Isaiah 55:8-9) For MY THOUGHTS - are not your thoughts, Neither Are your ways - MY Ways, - SAITH - The LORD.
(Isa 55:9) For as the heavens are higher than the earth, - SO ARE MY WAYS - Higher than your ways, -and- MY THOUGHTS - than your thoughts.

ALL THINGS FOR THE BELIEVER GO THROUGH THE PERMISSIVE WILL OF GOD! Only Those THINGS - That God Permits – TOUCH - THE REAL [John 7:38] BELIEVER!

WHY WASN'T PAUL - HEALED? Perhaps You Haven't READ - WHAT THE SCRIPTURE SAYS? HOW ABOUT PAUL OR PETER – LOOSING THE APOLOSTIC GIFT OF HEALING?

(2Corinthians 12:7) And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure. (2Cor 12:8) For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me. (2Cor 12:9) And HE [JESUS] said unto me, MY GRACE IS SUFFICIENT FOR YOU: for MY Strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, THAT - The Power of Christ - may rest upon me [Paul]. (2Cor 12:10) Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses – FOR CHRIST’S SAKE: for when I am weak, then am I strong.

NO WHERE - IN THE ENTIRE BIBLE – DOES GOD PROMISE ***** PHYSICAL HEALING ***** FOR THE NEW TESTAMENT BELIEVER!

BUT = YES I KNOW THAT JESUS CAN AND DOES HEAL IN 2006 BUT THOSE ARE RARE AND NOT EVERY DAY OCCURANCES! THE EXCEPTION RATHER THAN THE RULE!

IF – You will take Your BIBLE – and sit down and READ THROUGH THE ENTIRE NEW TESTAMENT – You will SEE – That – ALL HEALING WAS DONE – TO VALIDATE THE GOSPLE – THAT WAS PREACHED BY – “The APOSTLES!”

DON’T TAKE MY TESTIMONY – Read the WORD – FOR YOURSELF – Comparing Each and Every verse and - SEE – Where HEALING TOOK PLACE! - - -GOD’S WORD IS ALWAYS TRUE! ***** HEALING WAS ALWAYS USED – TO VALIDATE THE GOSPLE!

(John 20:29) JESUS saith unto him, Thomas, because you have seen Me, you have Believed: - BLESSED ARE THEY THAT HAVE NOT SEEN AND YET HAVE BELIEVED.

The data collected from Patients and Participants - IN ALL CLINICAL STUDIES – DOES NOT SEPARATE SMOKERS FROM NON-SMOKERS! How then, can that DATA – BE ACCURATE? IT CAN’T!

THERE IS NOTHING YOU CAN DO - TO KEEP FROM GETTING CANCER! ALL OF US, HAVE CANCER CELLS IN OUR BODIES! [Read ALL the Cancer information on the Internet Medical Sites - To Validate This!]

FATHER GOD, we ask that YOU – Turn the Hearts and the Minds of those that Call YOUR NAME – TO – YOUR WORD , as their – ONLY - Point of Truth! In Jesus Name and for Your Glory, Amen & Amen!

I can't agree with you that God won't heal today. Why don't you read Mark 11:23-24. Also, show me one New Testament verse that says that the gifts of the Spirit are not in operation today.

Roger,

I really don't understand what you're trying to say here. My friend does rely on God to heal him. Let me ask you a question -- why did you have surgery & treatment if you felt that doctors are not working for God? I never once said that I thought doctors do it by themselves. I believe truly, that God works THROUGH people so it IS God healing, not a mere man.

I agree w/Nobby that a debate is not welcome and is in very poor taste in a PRAYER forum. If you would like to pray for my friend, say so. Other than that, I would suggest that you put a debate on the debate forum. Thanks a lot. God bless.

ABORTION DOCTORS ARE NOT WORKING FOR GOD!

HOW ABOUT AN UNSAVED DOCTOR, CAN THEY HEAL WITH THEIR MEDICAL ARTS - AS A SAVED DOCTOR CAN?

The POINT in my Testimony = what that there is Some Healing by God in direct answer to Prayer = BUT = there is much more Sham going on in the Name of God, which gives God no glory!

PERHAPS = = if Christians would heed the verses I posted here in this message, and then Study Eccl 3 and Heb 9:27 there would be a lot less confusion!

Thanks for explaining that, Roger. Grace is sufficient. That's why we can get through our trials/tribulations & still come out victorious. I was wondering though. Do you believe that the doctors who performed the surgery on you were working for God as an answer to your prayer?
