Isaiah 33:3: At the noise of the tumult the people fled; at the lifting up of thyself the nations were scattered.
5: The LORD is exalted; for he dwelleth on high: he hath filled Zion with judgment and righteousness.
6: And wisdom and knowledge shall be the stability of thy times, and strength of salvation: the fear of the LORD is his treasure
7: Behold, their valiant ones shall cry without: the ambassadors of peace shall weep bitterly.
8: The highways lie waste, the wayfaring man ceaseth: he hath broken the covenant, he hath despised the cities, he regardeth no man.
9: The earth mourneth and languisheth: Lebanon is ashamed and hewn down: Sharon is like a wilderness; and Bashan and Carmel shake off their fruits.
10: Now will I rise, saith the LORD; now will I be exalted; now will I lift up myself.
11: Ye shall conceive chaff, ye shall bring forth stubble: your breath, as fire, shall devour you.
12: And the people shall be as the burnings of lime: as thorns cut up shall they be burned in the fire.
13: Hear, ye that are far off, what I have done; and, ye that are near, acknowledge my might.
14: The sinners in Zion are afraid; fearfulness hath surprised the hypocrites. Who among us shall dwell with the devouring fire? who among us shall dwell with everlasting burnings?
15: He that walketh righteously, and speaketh uprightly; he that despiseth the gain of oppressions, that shaketh his hands from holding of bribes, that stoppeth his ears from hearing of blood, and shutteth his eyes from seeing evil;
16: He shall dwell on high: his place of defence shall be the munitions of rocks: bread shall be given him; his waters shall be sure.
17: Thine eyes shall see the king in his beauty: they shall behold the land that is very far off.
18: Thine heart shall meditate terror. Where is the scribe? where is the receiver? where is he that counted the towers?
19: Thou shalt not see a fierce people, a people of a deeper speech than thou canst perceive; of a stammering tongue, that thou canst not understand.
20: Look upon Zion, the city of our solemnities: thine eyes shall see Jerusalem a quiet habitation, a tabernacle that shall not be taken down; not one of the stakes thereof shall ever be removed, neither shall any of the cords thereof be broken.
21: But there the glorious LORD will be unto us a place of broad rivers and streams; wherein shall go no galley with oars, neither shall gallant ship pass thereby.
22: For the LORD is our judge, the LORD is our lawgiver, the LORD is our king; he will save us.
23: Thy tacklings are loosed; they could not well strengthen their mast, they could not spread the sail: then is the prey of a great spoil divided; the lame take the prey.
24: And the inhabitant ((( shall not say, I am sick: ))) the people that dwell therein shall be forgiven their iniquity.
I was looking to the timing of this, but it seems fairly clear this is speaking of the time of Jesus. Verse 10 seems to bear this out, but let's look further.
John 3:14: And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:
15: That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
John 8:28: Then said Jesus unto them, (((When ye have lifted up the Son of man,))) then shall ye know that I am he, and that I do nothing of myself; but as my Father hath taught me, I speak these things.
John 12:31: Now is the judgment of this world: now shall the prince of this world be cast out.
32: And I, ((( if ))) I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me.
I'm wondering why Jesus says "when ((( you )) and ((( if ))) I be lifted up and thinking this has something to do with men being drawn to him only ((( if ))) we lift him up??????
Who is Zion and who is Jerusalem???
Zech 9:9: Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, thy King cometh unto thee: he is just, and having salvation; lowly, and riding upon an ass, and upon a colt the foal of an ass.
10: And I will cut off the chariot from Ephraim, and the horse from Jerusalem, and the battle bow shall be cut off: and he shall speak peace unto the heathen: and his dominion shall be from sea even to sea, and from river even to the ends of the earth.
11: As for thee also, ((( by the blood of thy covenant ))) I have sent forth thy prisoners out of the pit wherein is no water.
12: Turn you to the strong hold, ye prisoners of hope: even to day do I declare that I will render double unto thee; ( double reward for prisoners of hope )
13: When I have bent Judah for me, filled the bow with Ephraim, and raised up thy sons, O Zion, against thy sons, O Greece, and made thee as the (((sword ))) of a mighty man.
14: And the LORD shall be seen over them, and his arrow shall go forth as the lightning: and the LORD GOD shall blow the trumpet, and shall go with whirlwinds of the south.
15: The LORD of hosts shall defend them; and they shall devour, and subdue with sling stones; and they shall drink, and make a noise as through wine; and they shall be filled like bowls, and as the corners of the altar.
16: And the LORD their God shall save them in that day as the flock of his people: for they shall be as ((( the stones of a crown, lifted up as an ensign upon his land. )))
17: For how great is his goodness, and how great is his beauty! corn shall make the young men cheerful, and new wine the maids.
Mal 3:14: Ye have said, It is vain to serve God: and what profit is it that we have kept his ordinance, and that we have walked mournfully before the LORD of hosts?
15: And now we call the proud happy; yea, they that work wickedness are set up; yea, they that tempt God are even delivered.
16: Then they that feared the LORD spake often one to another: and the LORD hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the LORD, and that thought upon his name.
17: And they shall be mine, saith the LORD of hosts, in that day when I make up (((my jewels;))) and I will spare them, as a man spareth his own son that serveth him.
18: Then shall ye return, and discern between the righteous and the wicked, between him that serveth God and him that serveth him not.
Is 28:: In that day shall the LORD of hosts be for a crown of glory, and for a diadem of beauty, (((unto the residue of his people))) (the remnant)
Ezek 21:26: Thus saith the Lord GOD; Remove the diadem, and take off the crown: this shall not be the same: exalt him that is low, and abase him that is high.
27: I will overturn, overturn, overturn, it: and it shall be no more, until he come whose right it is; and I will give it him.
Matt 27:29: And when they had platted a crown of (((thorns,))) they put it upon his head, and a reed in his right hand: and they bowed the knee before him, and mocked him, saying, Hail, King of the Jews
Rev 210: Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.

Who is Zion and who is Jerusalem???
Jerusalem and Melchisedek:
Je (this is) Ruh or Ruha (the dwelling place) Sa (for the) Lem or Lehem (great King). Me or mei (of My) l’chi or lichi - read litzi (countenance or light) Sedek (seat).
Exd 15:17 Thou shalt bring them in, and plant them in the mountain of thine inheritance, [in] the place, O LORD, [which] thou hast made for thee to dwell in, [in] the Sanctuary, O Lord, [which] thy hands have established.
Col 3:16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.
Rev 21:3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God [is] with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, [and be] their God.
Zec 8:3 Thus saith the LORD; I am returned unto Zion, and will dwell in the midst of Jerusalem: and Jerusalem shall be called a city of truth; and the mountain of the LORD of hosts the holy mountain.
Psa 9:11 Sing praises to the LORD, which dwelleth in Zion: declare among the people his doings.
Zecheriah to me means:
I am returned unto Zion...This would be Christ returning to the Father.
And will dwell in the midst of Jerusalem... is the church.
And Revelations is...The tabernacle of God would be Christ.
dwelling with his poeple the church, and God is with us.
Zion=Christ as one with God
Jerusalem=Church as one with Christ
So who is the daughter?
Zech 9:9: Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, thy King cometh unto thee: he is just, and having salvation; lowly, and riding upon an ass, and upon a colt the foal of an ass.
Could the daughter of God and of the church represent the Holy Spirit?
Psa 9:14 That I may shew forth all thy praise in the gates of the daughter of Zion: I will rejoice in thy salvation.
The salvation of the spirit in man? becoming one with the spirit of God?
Psa 74:2 Remember thy congregation, [which] thou hast purchased of old; the rod of thine inheritance, [which] thou hast redeemed; this mount Zion, wherein thou hast dwelt.
Could it be that at one time we were with God and God dwelt in us, that we were all one spirit. And then we fell like stars from heaven to the earth and were scattered. And God sent Christ to redeem us from our fall and to bring us back to our first estate with Him?
Gen 11:9 Therefore is the name of it called Babel; because the LORD did there confound the language of all the earth: and from thence did the LORD scatter them abroad upon the face of all the earth.
Rev 12:4 And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born.
Luk 24:7 Saying, The Son of man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again.
Jdg 5:12 Awake, awake, Deborah: awake, awake, utter a song: arise, Barak, and lead thy captivity captive, thou son of Abinoam.
Isa 52:2 Shake thyself from the dust; arise, [and] sit down, O Jerusalem: loose thyself from the bands of thy neck, O captive daughter of Zion.
2 Timothy 2:24-26
And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all [men], apt to teach, patient,
In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth;
And [that] they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.
just some thoughts..

I believe the daughter of Zion is the adopted sons and daughters of God. Daughter or son means offspring - the branches.
