Ez:24:24: Thus Ezekiel is unto you a sign: according to all that he hath done shall ye do: and when this cometh, ye shall know that I am the Lord GOD.

Ez:2:7: And thou shalt speak my words unto them, whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear: for they are most rebellious.
Ez:2:8: But thou, son of man, hear what I say unto thee; Be not thou rebellious like that rebellious house: open thy mouth, and eat that I give thee.
Ez:2:9: And when I looked, behold, an hand was sent unto me; and, lo, a roll of a book was therein;
Ez:2:10: And he spread it before me; and it was written within and without: and there was written therein lamentations, and mourning, and woe.

Ez:3:17: Son of man, I have made thee a watchman unto the house of Israel: therefore hear the word at my mouth, and give them warning from me.
Ez:3:18: When I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; and thou givest him not warning, nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand.
Ez:3:19: Yet if thou warn the wicked, and he turn not from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul.
Ez:3:20: Again, When a righteous man doth turn from his righteousness, and commit iniquity, and I lay a stumbling-block before him, he shall die: because thou hast not given him warning, he shall die in his sin, and his righteousness which he hath done shall not be remembered; but his blood will I require at thine hand.
Ez:3:21: Nevertheless if thou warn the righteous man, that the righteous sin not, and he doth not sin, he shall surely live, because he is warned; also thou hast delivered thy soul.

Gn:2:16: And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat:
Gn:2:17: But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.

Gn:20:3: But God came to Abimelech in a dream by night, and said to him, Behold, thou art but a dead man, for the woman which thou hast taken; for she is a man's wife.
Gn:20:6: And God said unto him in a dream, Yea, I know that thou didst this in the integrity of thy heart; for I also withheld thee from sinning against me: therefore suffered I thee not to touch her.
Gn:20:7: Now therefore restore the man his wife; for he is a prophet, and he shall pray for thee, and thou shalt live: and if thou restore her not, know thou that thou shalt surely die, thou, and all that are thine.

2Kgs:1:3: But the angel of the Lord said to Elijah the Tishbite, Arise, go up to meet the messengers of the king of Samaria, and say unto them, Is it not because there is not a God in Israel, that ye go to enquire of Baalzebub the god of Ekron?
2Kgs:1:4: Now therefore thus saith the Lord, Thou shalt not come down from that bed on which thou art gone up, but shalt surely die. And Elijah departed.
2Kgs:1:15: And the angel of the Lord said unto Elijah, Go down with him: be not afraid of him. And he arose, and went down with him unto the king.
2Kgs:1:16: And he said unto him, Thus saith the Lord, Forasmuch as thou hast sent messengers to enquire of Baalzebub the god of Ekron, is it not because there is no God in Israel to enquire of his word? therefore thou shalt not come down off that bed on which thou art gone up, but shalt surely die.
2Kgs:1:17: So he died according to the word of the Lord which Elijah had spoken. And Jehoram reigned in his stead in the second year of Jehoram the son of Jehoshaphat king of Judah; because he had no son.

Jer:20:6: And thou, Pashur, and all that dwell in thine house shall go into captivity: and thou shalt come to Babylon, and there thou shalt die, and shalt be buried there, thou, and all thy friends, to whom thou hast prophesied lies.

Jer:28:15: Then said the prophet Jeremiah unto Hananiah the prophet, Hear now, Hananiah; The Lord hath not sent thee; but thou makest this people to trust in a lie.
Jer:28:16: Therefore thus saith the Lord; Behold, I will cast thee from off the face of the earth: this year thou shalt die, because thou hast taught rebellion against the Lord.
Jer:28:17: So Hananiah the prophet died the same year in the seventh month.

Ez:28:6: Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thou hast set thine heart as the heart of God;
Ez:28:7: Behold, therefore I will bring strangers upon thee, the terrible of the nations: and they shall draw their swords against the beauty of thy wisdom, and they shall defile thy brightness.
Ez:28:8: They shall bring thee down to the pit, and thou shalt die the deaths of them that are slain in the midst of the seas.
Ez:28:9: Wilt thou yet say before him that slayeth thee, I am God? but thou shalt be a man, and no God, in the hand of him that slayeth thee.
Ez:28:10: Thou shalt die the deaths of the uncircumcised by the hand of strangers: for I have spoken it, saith the Lord GOD.

This is interesting...

Mt:1:18: Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost.
Mt:1:19: Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not willing to make her a publick example, was minded to put her away privily.
Mt:1:20: But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost.
Mt:1:21: And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.
Mt:1:24: Then Joseph being raised from sleep did as the angel of the Lord had bidden him, and took unto him his wife:
Mt:1:25: And knew her not till she had brought forth her firstborn son: and he called his name JESUS.

ever wonder why Joseph was never mentioned again? hmm.

Can you draw?
I'm not very good at it, but I have something in my mind to show you.

Can you picture in your mind a small man a boy actually. He is standing in the middle of a plain. He satnds tall, and both arms are bent back as if to sling a sling shot, Hands almost resting on his nose.

Across the plain, quite aways away stands before him a very huge man. As tall as a giant and holding a maul in his hand. The maul is extended slightly as if he were coming after the boy to swing at him.

Freeze this picture in your mind. Now place a full shining sun directed onto the field. coming up from behind the back of the boy, and throwing a shodow over the scene onto the ground.

What do you see?

I see a cross standing in front of a monster.

you?

could this scene between David and Goliath be a prophecy of future events?

Sometimes my mind wanders......

Can I show you something more?...

You see David standing there with his elbows pointing out to the sides. Holding the slingshot to his nose. and the shadow of the cross in front of him?

I see men on their knees all with elbows bent with a rifle to their nose all along a strait line.

I look across the field and there in front of me is a row of men, bending on their knees, with their elbows bent and their rifles to their noses.

What are we doing?

I am sorry for sharing these but they bother me and I guess I want you to be bothered too....
Not that we aren't, but sometimes some just don't see unless the light is shining on it huh?

One more if you would have patience with me please...

I would like you to see a large man very tall. It is an Angel in the heaven, and he has his elbows bent. And holding in his hands is a book that is held open. And he stands before the Giant from before.

Now picture the Angel a very tall one called Michael drawing out his sword from his side. Both elbows extended. and raises it to strike between his eyes. And the dragon which is the same dragon from before.

The one that was and is not and yet is.

He was slain and did live. Until God sends His angel to kick his butt.

Amen?

Lone I hate to burst your bubble that's not the type of sling shot they had back then. They were made from animal skin (leather) They had a piece of skin to hold the pebble or rock usually as round as they could find. Then
they would lace two long pieces of leather (about 2ft long)to the skin that holds the rock. They would place the rock in the skin, then he would secure one of the long leather pieces in the palm of his hand, the other with his finger & thumb! Then he would swing it very fast above his head.
At just the precise moment he would release the one between his finger & thumb. This time, God told young David the precise moment to reliese,
because it hit the giant man in the forehead bringing him to the ground.

So Lone I'm afraid the shadow is gonna be wrong. Very Happy Very Happy
But honey it sounded good, I liked your discription better. Wink

Love ya sis,

You think maybe the wound in the head has something to do with thinking or believing? Something to do with the mind?

The soldiers all around David were a scarred of the Giant, but David put his spiritual eyes and killed him. David felt he was too big to miss. Today, we have an enemy too, but we should not just look at the situation with our natural eyes, but put on our spiritual eyes and use the Mighty name of Jesus and he has to flee. In life, we can be knocked down, but not knocked out. PRAISE GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!

May God bless, golfjack
