Neh:8:15: And that they should publish and proclaim in all their cities, and in Jerusalem, saying, Go forth unto the mount, and fetch olive branches, and pine branches, and myrtle branches, and palm branches, and branches of thick trees, to make booths, as it is written.

Is:41:19: I will plant in the wilderness the cedar, the *Poop* tree, and the myrtle, and the oil tree; I will set in the desert the fir tree, and the pine, and the box tree together:

Is:55:13: Instead of the thorn shall come up the fir tree, and instead of the brier shall come up the myrtle tree: and it shall be to the Lord for a name, for an everlasting sign that shall not be cut off.

Is:60:13: The glory of Lebanon shall come unto thee, the fir tree, the pine tree, and the box together, to beautify the place of my sanctuary; and I will make the place of my feet glorious.

where did the myrtle go?

2Chr:2:8: Send me also cedar trees, fir trees, and algum trees, out of Lebanon: for I know that thy servants can skill to cut timber in Lebanon; and, behold, my servants shall be with thy servants,
2Chr:2:9: Even to prepare me timber in abundance: for the house which I am about to build shall be wonderful great.

Jn:14:2: In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.

And Jesus was a carpenter!! how cool is that??!!

ok back to trees

houses are made with trees, what kind of tree are you??

this is the last reference to myrtle trees or bushes.

Zec:1:8: I saw by night, and behold a man riding upon a red horse, and he stood among the myrtle trees that were in the bottom; and behind him were there red horses, speckled, and white.
Zec:1:9: Then said I, O my lord, what are these? And the angel that talked with me said unto me, I will shew thee what these be.
Zec:1:10: And the man that stood among the myrtle trees answered and said, These are they whom the Lord hath sent to walk to and fro through the earth.
Zec:1:11: And they answered the angel of the Lord that stood among the myrtle trees, and said, We have walked to and fro through the earth, and, behold, all the earth sitteth still, and is at rest.

There are no myrtle bushes, or trees in the new testament.

How ever it does say they were in the bottom.

Is:60:13: The glory of Lebanon shall come unto thee, the fir tree, the pine tree, and the box together, to beautify the place of my sanctuary; and I will make the place of my feet glorious.

Is:60:14: The sons also of them that afflicted thee shall come bending unto thee; and all they that despised thee shall bow themselves down at the soles of thy feet; and they shall call thee; The city of the Lord, The Zion of the Holy One of Israel.

Jb:30:5: They were driven forth from among men, (they cried after them as after a thief;)
Jb:30:6: To dwell in the cliffs of the valleys, in caves of the earth, and in the rocks.
Jb:30:7: Among the bushes they brayed; under the nettles they were gathered together.
Jb:30:8: They were children of fools, yea, children of base men: they were viler than the earth.

the myrtle tree was supposed to replace the brier..

Mi:7:2: The good man is perished out of the earth: and there is none upright among men: they all lie in wait for blood; they hunt every man his brother with a net.
Mi:7:3: That they may do evil with both hands earnestly, the prince asketh, and the judge asketh for a reward; and the great man, he uttereth his mischievous desire: so they wrap it up.
Mi:7:4: The best of them is as a brier: the most upright is sharper than a thorn hedge: the day of thy watchmen and thy visitation cometh; now shall be their perplexity.

Mt:19:16: And, behold, one came and said unto him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life?
Mt:19:17: And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.

I think this is where the myrtle trees went...

Nm:16:1: Now Korah, the son of Izhar, the son of Kohath, the son of Levi, and Dathan and Abiram, the sons of Eliab, and On, the son of Peleth, sons of Reuben, took men:
Nm:16:2: And they rose up before Moses, with certain of the children of Israel, two hundred and fifty princes of the assembly, famous in the congregation, men of renown:
Nm:16:3: And they gathered themselves together against Moses and against Aaron, and said unto them, Ye take too much upon you, seeing all the congregation are holy, every one of them, and the Lord is among them: wherefore then lift ye up yourselves above the congregation of the Lord?
Nm:16:4: And when Moses heard it, he fell upon his face:
Nm:16:5: And he spake unto Korah and unto all his company, saying, Even to morrow the Lord will shew who are his, and who is holy; and will cause him to come near unto him: even him whom he hath chosen will he cause to come near unto him.
Nm:16:6: This do; Take you censers, Korah, and all his company;
Nm:16:7: And put fire therein, and put incense in them before the Lord to morrow: and it shall be that the man whom the Lord doth choose, he shall be holy: ye take too much upon you, ye sons of Levi.
Nm:16:8: And Moses said unto Korah, Hear, I pray you, ye sons of Levi:
Nm:16:9: Seemeth it but a small thing unto you, that the God of Israel hath separated you from the congregation of Israel, to bring you near to himself to do the service of the tabernacle of the Lord, and to stand before the congregation to minister unto them?
Nm:16:10: And he hath brought thee near to him, and all thy brethren the sons of Levi with thee: and seek ye the priesthood also?
Nm:16:11: For which cause both thou and all thy company are gathered together against the Lord: and what is Aaron, that ye murmur against him?
Nm:16:12: And Moses sent to call Dathan and Abiram, the sons of Eliab: which said, We will not come up:
Nm:16:13: Is it a small thing that thou hast brought us up out of a land that floweth with milk and honey, to kill us in the wilderness, except thou make thyself altogether a prince over us?
Nm:16:14: Moreover thou hast not brought us into a land that floweth with milk and honey, or given us inheritance of fields and vineyards: wilt thou put out the eyes of these men? we will not come up.
Nm:16:15: And Moses was very wroth, and said unto the Lord, Respect not thou their offering: I have not taken one ass from them, neither have I hurt one of them.
Nm:16:16: And Moses said unto Korah, Be thou and all thy company before the Lord, thou, and they, and Aaron, to morrow:
Nm:16:17: And take every man his censer, and put incense in them, and bring ye before the Lord every man his censer, two hundred and fifty censers; thou also, and Aaron, each of you his censer.
Nm:16:18: And they took every man his censer, and put fire in them, and laid incense thereon, and stood in the door of the tabernacle of the congregation with Moses and Aaron.
Nm:16:19: And Korah gathered all the congregation against them unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation: and the glory of the Lord appeared unto all the congregation.
Nm:16:20: And the Lord spake unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying,
Nm:16:21: Separate yourselves from among this congregation, that I may consume them in a moment.
Nm:16:22: And they fell upon their faces, and said, O God, the God of the spirits of all flesh, shall one man sin, and wilt thou be wroth with all the congregation?
Nm:16:23: And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,
Nm:16:24: Speak unto the congregation, saying, Get you up from about the tabernacle of Korah, Dathan, and Abiram.
Nm:16:25: And Moses rose up and went unto Dathan and Abiram; and the elders of Israel followed him.
Nm:16:26: And he spake unto the congregation, saying, Depart, I pray you, from the tents of these wicked men, and touch nothing of their's, lest ye be consumed in all their sins.
Nm:16:27: So they gat up from the tabernacle of Korah, Dathan, and Abiram, on every side: and Dathan and Abiram came out, and stood in the door of their tents, and their wives, and their sons, and their little children.
Nm:16:28: And Moses said, Hereby ye shall know that the Lord hath sent me to do all these works; for I have not done them of mine own mind.
Nm:16:29: If these men die the common death of all men, or if they be visited after the visitation of all men; then the Lord hath not sent me.
Nm:16:30: But if the Lord make a new thing, and the earth open her mouth, and swallow them up, with all that appertain unto them, and they go down quick into the pit; then ye shall understand that these men have provoked the Lord. Nm:16:31: And it came to pass, as he had made an end of speaking all these words, that the ground clave asunder that was under them:
Nm:16:32: And the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed them up, and their houses, and all the men that appertained unto Korah, and all their goods.
Nm:16:33: They, and all that appertained to them, went down alive into the pit, and the earth closed upon them: and they perished from among the congregation.

Are these the myrtle trees that were in the bottom??

Nm:16:13: Is it a small thing that thou hast brought us up out of a land that floweth with milk and honey, to kill us in the wilderness, except thou make thyself altogether a prince over us?

Jgs:9:14: Then said all the trees unto the bramble, Come thou, and reign over us.
Jgs:9:15: And the bramble said unto the trees, If in truth ye anoint me king over you, then come and put your trust in my shadow: and if not, let fire come out of the bramble, and devour the cedars of Lebanon.

Zec:1:8: I saw by night, and behold a man riding upon a red horse, and he stood among the myrtle trees that were in the bottom; and behind him were there red horses, speckled, and white.

Nm:16:1: Now Korah, the son of Izhar, the son of Kohath, the son of Levi, and Dathan and Abiram, the sons of Eliab, and On, the son of Peleth, sons of Reuben, took men:
Nm:16:2: And they rose up before Moses, with certain of the children of Israel, two hundred and fifty princes of the assembly, famous in the congregation, men of renown:

interesting stuff here...

have to check out horses..

Poop tree is the shillah tree, with tt instead of ll, not a good name for a tree lol

I have an idea that Korah is the one that rides the red horse.
and the red horses are those that followed him. (the myrtle trees in the bottom).

does this make any sense to you??

Cedar Trees:

Nm:24:5: How goodly are thy tents, O Jacob, and thy tabernacles, O Israel!
Nm:24:6: As the valleys are they spread forth, as gardens by the river's side, as the trees of lign aloes which the Lord hath planted, and as cedar trees beside the waters.
Nm:24:7: He shall pour the water out of his buckets, and his seed shall be in many waters, and his king shall be higher than Agag, and his kingdom shall be exalted.

Jgs:9:15: And the bramble said unto the trees, If in truth ye anoint me king over you, then come and put your trust in my shadow: and if not, let fire come out of the bramble, and devour the cedars of Lebanon.

2Sm:7:2: That the king said unto Nathan the prophet, See now, I dwell in an house of cedar, but the ark of God dwelleth within curtains.
2Sm:7:5: Go and tell my servant David, Thus saith the Lord, Shalt thou build me an house for me to dwell in?
2Sm:7:6: Whereas I have not dwelt in any house since the time that I brought up the children of Israel out of Egypt, even to this day, but have walked in a tent and in a tabernacle.
2Sm:7:7: In all the places wherein I have walked with all the children of Israel spake I a word with any of the tribes of Israel, whom I commanded to feed my people Israel, saying, Why build ye not me an house of cedar?

1Kgs:4:30: And Solomon's wisdom excelled the wisdom of all the children of the east country, and all the wisdom of Egypt.
1Kgs:4:32: And he spake three thousand proverbs: and his songs were a thousand and five.
1Kgs:4:33: And he spake of trees, from the cedar tree that is in Lebanon even unto the hyssop that springeth out of the wall: he spake also of beasts, and of fowl, and of creeping things, and of fishes.
1Kgs:4:34: And there came of all people to hear the wisdom of Solomon, from all kings of the earth, which had heard of his wisdom.

Ps:29:5: The voice of the Lord breaketh the cedars; yea, the Lord breaketh the cedars of Lebanon.

Ps:92:12: The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree: he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon.
Ps:92:13: Those that be planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish in the courts of our God.

Ps:104:16: The trees of the Lord are full of sap; the cedars of Lebanon, which he hath planted;

Sg:5:15: His legs are as pillars of marble, set upon sockets of fine gold: his countenance is as Lebanon, excellent as the cedars.
Sg:5:16: His mouth is most sweet: yea, he is altogether lovely. This is my beloved, and this is my friend, O daughters of Jerusalem

Ez:17:2: Son of man, put forth a riddle, and speak a parable unto the house of Israel;
Ez:17:3: And say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; A great eagle with great wings, longwinged, full of feathers, which had divers colours, came unto Lebanon, and took the highest branch of the cedar:
Ez:17:4: He cropped off the top of his young twigs, and carried it into a land of traffick; he set it in a city of merchants.

Ez:17:11: Moreover the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,
Ez:17:12: Say now to the rebellious house, Know ye not what these things mean? tell them, Behold, the king of Babylon is come to Jerusalem, and hath taken the king thereof, and the princes thereof, and led them with him to Babylon;

I am really thankful when the Lord interprets his own parables..amen?!!

Ez:17:22: Thus saith the Lord GOD; I will also take of the highest branch of the high cedar, and will set it; I will crop off from the top of his young twigs a tender one, and will plant it upon an high mountain and eminent:
Ez:17:23: In the mountain of the height of Israel will I plant it: and it shall bring forth boughs, and bear fruit, and be a goodly cedar: and under it shall dwell all fowl of every wing; in the shadow of the branches thereof shall they dwell.
Ez:17:24: And all the trees of the field shall know that I the Lord have brought down the high tree, have exalted the low tree, have dried up the green tree, and have made the dry tree to flourish: I the Lord have spoken and have done it.

Ez:31:3: Behold, the Assyrian was a cedar in Lebanon with fair branches, and with a shadowing shroud, and of an high stature; and his top was among the thick boughs.
Ez:31:7: Thus was he fair in his greatness, in the length of his branches: for his root was by great waters.
Ez:31:8: The cedars in the garden of God could not hide him: the fir trees were not like his boughs, and the chestnut trees were not like his branches; nor any tree in the garden of God was like unto him in his beauty.

Ez:31:9: I have made him fair by the multitude of his branches: so that all the trees of Eden, that were in the garden of God, envied him.
Ez:31:10: Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thou hast lifted up thyself in height, and he hath shot up his top among the thick boughs, and his heart is lifted up in his height;
Ez:31:11: I have therefore delivered him into the hand of the mighty one of the heathen; he shall surely deal with him: I have driven him out for his wickedness.

Is he talking about the serpent or Cain? or Adam?

Ez:31:16: I made the nations to shake at the sound of his fall, when I cast him down to hell with them that descend into the pit: and all the trees of Eden, the choice and best of Lebanon, all that drink water, shall be comforted in the nether parts of the earth.
Ez:31:17: They also went down into hell with him unto them that be slain with the sword; and they that were his arm, that dwelt under his shadow in the midst of the heathen.
Ez:31:18: To whom art thou thus like in glory and in greatness among the trees of Eden? yet shalt thou be brought down with the trees of Eden unto the nether parts of the earth: thou shalt lie in the midst of the uncircumcised with them that be slain by the sword. This is Pharaoh and all his multitude, saith the Lord GOD.

This is Pharaoh, hmmm.

Am:2:9: Yet destroyed I the Amorite before them, whose height was like the height of the cedars, and he was strong as the oaks; yet I destroyed his fruit from above, and his roots from beneath.

Zec:11:1: Open thy doors, O Lebanon, that the fire may devour thy cedars.
Zec:11:2: Howl, fir tree; for the cedar is fallen; because the mighty are spoiled: howl, O ye oaks of Bashan; for the forest of the vintage is come down.

There are no cedar trees in the new testament.

Sounds like pride to me.

1Tm:3:6: Not a novice, lest being lifted up with pride he fall into the condemnation of the devil.

1Jn:2:16: For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.

the cedar has fallen and pride causes you to fall.

Acts:15:16: After this I will return, and will build again the tabernacle of David, which is fallen down; and I will build again the ruins thereof, and I will set it up:

Rv:14:8: And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.

Rv:17:10: And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space.

Rv:18:2: And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird.

sounds like someone is going to get taken down off their high pedestal.

Is:3:8: For Jerusalem is ruined, and Judah is fallen: because their tongue and their doings are against the Lord, to provoke the eyes of his glory.
Is:3:9: The shew of their countenance doth witness against them; and they declare their sin as Sodom, they hide it not. Woe unto their soul! for they have rewarded evil unto themselves.
Is:3:10: Say ye to the righteous, that it shall be well with him: for they shall eat the fruit of their doings.

see where pride will get ya??
I know why there's no good cedar trees in the new testament...

Jgs:9:15: And the bramble said unto the trees, If in truth ye anoint me king over you, then come and put your trust in my shadow: and if not, let fire come out of the bramble, and devour the cedars of Lebanon.

Jn:14:30: Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me.

Jn:18:38: Pilate saith unto him, What is truth? And when he had said this, he went out again unto the Jews, and saith unto them, I find in him no fault at all.
Jn:18:39: But ye have a custom, that I should release unto you one at the passover: will ye therefore that I release unto you the King of the Jews?
Jn:18:40: Then cried they all again, saying, Not this man, but Barabbas. Now Barabbas was a robber.
