I wanted to share something I found concerning context (Using Paul as an example) of the "Spirit's paths". Its pretty awesome.

One place its seen is in Romans 10:1-21( you need a footnoted bible in front of ya) to see this, thank God for footnotes sometimes Paul makes use from many books, taking only "verses" to make his point. I see the footsteps of the Holy Spirit here (I'm so partial to His teaching) Wink

Heres a "perfect example" of how the Spirit in Paul chose to share from the scriptures. Nowadays I wonder if some would not condemn Paul himself for "reading out of context".One would really have to talk to the Holy Spirit about how he choose to lead Paul in this way. The work of Christ was "The context".

Christ is the True context amen? Jesus said, "The scriptures testify of ME". The Spirit bears witness of HIM and the Testimony of Jesus Christ IS the Spirit of prophecy. One cannot know the scriptures or the power of God without HIM being the center. He must need be the center as the Holy Spirit teach us 8)

I'll write down the example in Romans 10:1-21 where Paul is led to "pluck verses" from Lev 18:5 goes to Duet 30:12-14 then Isaiah 28:16 then Joel 2:32 then directly into Isaiah 52:7 then moves up to Isaiah 53:1 back to Psalms 19:4 then Duet 32:21 back to Isaiah 65:1-2 Just to make a single point

Why could he not make this same point from within the "context of one book"? This IS actually fun... Go back and read from WHERE paul pulled each verse and see if you can see anything in the "context" from where he pulled these things concerning Christ and his point... Its amazing

I actually think this is beautiful, so I suppose we could look a bit closer concerning the charge to read"in context" when there is an example of not doing so. I'm so glad Pauls examples are footnoted because I never would have thought to give it a thought.

I remembered being hunted down Shocked once concerning a demand to take Huemectrics class ( which is a man made system of interpretation) But this still not a "revelation" of Jesus Christ The Spirit of prophecy IS the True Testimony of Jesus Christ and the MORE SURE word of prophecy we have received within us. An "evidence" unseen and and yet certain.

Why pray for the Spirit of wisdom and revelation if we could just read in context? Confused or disgusted "To and Fro" knowledge shall increase. Comparing Spiritual with spiritual, Seeing Christ of whom they speak right? After all The Testimony of Jesus Christ IS The Spirit of Prophecy and its Christ in us who is our Hope of Glory, don't we wait for Him to be revealed both in the Volume of the book and in ourselves?

So if someone on the logic trail tells you to take a course in Huemectrics... Ask them where that is in scripture, I don't hear the Lord telling the disciples any such thing do you? The annoiting Teaches us. A good Teacher such as John does not usurp the light but points faithfully to Him who IS the light. When others start to hear the Lord for themselves give them a big kiss and hug and "let his people go" (sound familiar? Wink )

For it is the GLORY OF GOD to CONCEAL A MATTER But the GLORY OF KINGS to SEARCH IT OUT... Theres a beaut for ya. Be Noble like the Bereans search it out, you'll find where Paul admits a few words on something, that when the Spirit teaches those things become expanded upon. That we might know the scriptures and the power of God would be a wonderful thing Very Happy

Have fun Very Happy
