Exodus 29:7; Then shalt thou take the anointing oil, and pour it upon his head, and anoint him.

Exodus 25:6; Oil for the light, spices for the anointing oil, and for sweet incense;

Exodus 30:25; And thou shalt make it an oil of Holy ointment, compound after the art of the apothecary; it shall be an Holy anointing oil.

Leviticus 8:12; And he poured of the anointing oil upon Aaron's head, and anointed him, to sanctify him.

Deuteronomy 28:40; Thou shalt have olive trees throughout all thy coasts, but thou shalt not anoint thyself with the oil, for thine olive shall cast his fruit.

2 Chronicles 23:11; Then they brought out the king's son, and put upon him the crown, and gave him the testimony, and made him king. And Jehoiada and his sons anointed him, and said, God save the king.

The crucifixion, see how they mocked Jesus? wow.

Psalms 45:7; Thou lovest righteousness, and hatest wickedness: Therefore God, thy God, hath annointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.

Psalms 89:29; I have found David my servant, with my holy oil have I anointed him.

Zec. 4:14; Then said he, These are the two anointed ones, that stand by the Lord of the whole earth.

Isaiah 61:1; The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me; because the Lord hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; He hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound.

Luke 4:18; The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because He hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; He hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and of recovering sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised..

somebody do a word search on bruised, ok?

Acts 10:38; How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.

2 Corinthians 1:21; Now He which stablisheth us with you in Christ, and hath anointed us, is God;
verse 22; Who hath also sealed us, and given the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts.

Hebrews 1:9; Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; Therefore God, even thy God, hath annointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.

1John 2:27; But the anointing which ye have recieved of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.

I believe the everlasting priesthood of the anointed is still here in us.

Exodus 2:6 says oil for the light.

John 9:11; He answered and said, A man that is called Jesus made clay, and anointed mine eyes, and said unto me, Go to the pool of Siloam, and wash, and I went and washed, and I received sight.

Revelations 3:18; I counsel thee to buy of Me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich, and white raiment that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.

Notice "beating for the light" (suffering of ones soul see the light of life=Light of men=Christ

Exodus 22:20 And thou shalt command the children of Israel, that they bring thee pure oil olive ***beaten*** for the light, "to cause" "the lamp" to burn always.

2Sam 2:29 For thou [art] my lamp, O LORD: and the LORD will lighten my darkness.

Psalm 119:105 Thy word [is] a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.

Prov 6:23 For the commandment [is] a lamp; and the((( law is light)))) and reproofs of instruction [are] the way of life:

He who judges his brother judges (((the law)))...YE are a LIGHT a CITY (of people) on a hill

Rev 21:23 And the CITY had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the (((glory of God))) did lighten it, and the Lamb [is] the light thereof.

Luke 11:34 The light of the body is (((eye))) therefore when thine eye is (((single))) thy whole body also is full of light; but when [thine eye] is evil, thy body also [is] full of darkness. (Two eyes? Pluck out one, eye for an eye? Samsons BOTH eyes were plucked out) Theres much in this verse alone. Two witnesses? Darkness (called night) and Light (called day) Two eyes thus become ONE by His doing.

Two great lights Two witness Two eyes(Samsons PLUCKED OUT No need for The Sun nor the Moon for Light Christ IS come and gives US LIGHT. Christ IN US OUR HOPE OF GLORY (See Rev.) No curse just Life in Him and Him in us. The Glory of God in the City of PEOPLE IS CHRIST and God lightens it Wink

Acts 2:46 did eat their meat with gladness and (((singleness of heart))) not "double minded"

James 1:8 A (((double minded))) man [is] unstable in all his ways.

James 4:8 purify [your](((( hearts)))[ye] ((((double minded)))

Rev 22:3 And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be (((in it))) and his servants shall serve him: (Christ IN YOU your hope of glory)

Isaiah 62:1 For Zion's sake will I not hold my peace, and for Jerusalem's sake I will not rest, until the righteousness thereof go forth as brightness, and the "salvation" thereof as a lamp [that] burneth.

Did anyone notice, He never said "Mary Mary" but only "Martha Martha" (as He did with others as well) Double minded? Not single in purpose or chosing the best part, for that which mary chose was that which should not be taken away. She had a SINGLE focus on the Lord seated at His feet. What Mary did with annointing His feet will ointment was written down as a "memorial of her"... Theres something beautiful in this as well.

Psalm 133:1 [[A Song of degrees of David.]] Behold, how good and how pleasant [it is] for brethren to dwell together in unity!

Psalm 133:2 [It is] like the precious ointment upon thy head (Christ), that ran down upon the beard, [even] Aaron's beard: that went down to the skirts of his garments;

Psalm 133:3 As the dew of Hermon, [and as the dew] that descended upon the mountains of Zion: for there the LORD commanded the blessing, [even] life for evermore.

Which is kinda interesting being that Hermon is defined as...

Hermon: anathema; devoted to destruction

Songs 1:3 Because of the savour of thy good ointments thy name [is as] ointment poured forth, therefore do the virgins love thee.

Ecc 7:1 A good name [is] better than precious ointment; and the day of death than the day of one's birth.

Precious is used in relation to ones death "Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints"

The Dew of Hermon (see definition above) as the precious ointment?

Mat 26:12 For in that she hath poured this ointment on my body (we are His body), she did [it] for my burial.
2 Col 2:12 Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with [him] through faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead.

John 11:2 (It was [that] Mary which anointed the Lord with ointment, and wiped his feet with her hair, whose brother Lazarus was sick.)

John 12:3 Then took Mary a pound of ointment of spikenard, very costly (counted the cost?), and anointed the feet of Jesus, and wiped his feet with her hair: and the house was filled with the odour of the ointment.

(Dont ask me why I'm putting this here, but I felt to)

Acts 5:9 behold, the feet "of them" which have buried thy husband [are] at The DOOR, and shall carry thee out.

Ok I got a stop and look here... Mary and Martha, the "house" was filled with the odour of the ointment (seek to save life lose it=Costly?)

Martha saith Lord (In reference to Lazarus) Lord he stinketh ( fragrance of death?) Carnally minded is death?

Fragrance of life to those being saved?

This IS WEIRD, The ointment...As the dew of Hermon which means Anathama, devoted to destruction.

See this?

There is something in this Big time, because what she did is was written in a memorial of her.

2Chron 2:14 Now thanks [be] unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the "savour of his knowledge" by us in every place.

2Corinth 2:15 For we are unto God a sweet savour of Christ, in them that are "saved", ((and)) in them that "perish":

2Corinth 2:16 To the one [we are] the savour of death unto death; and to the other the savour of life unto life. And who [is] sufficient for these things?

Romans 8:6 For to be "carnally minded" [is] death; but to be "spiritually minded" [is] life and peace.

1Corinth 3:22 Whether Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, or the world, or life, or death, or things present, or things to come; all are yours;

Rom 6:4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

Carnally minded or spiritually minded are either babes or sons, both death (carnal mind) and Life (Spiritually minded) both are ours? Neither will separate us from the love of God?

MoJo made a comment concerning Mt Hermon (and look at its definition above) Mt Hermon IS Mount Zion.

EVERY WALL SHALL FALL... Good thing? Now is the time for Salvation being the Mt Zion be a CITY WITHOUT WALLS... So is the "walls falling" a bad thing or a good thing??? Very Happy

Joshua 12:1 Now these are the kings of the land, which the children of Israel smote, and possesed their land on the other side Jordan toward the rising of the sun, from the river Arnon unto Mt. Hermon, and all the plain on the east.
I think Israel is the dew that descended on hermon and smote it.

yet Deuteronomy 4:48 says From Aroer, which is by the bank of the river Arnon, even unto mount Sion, which is Hermon.

What is the dew that descended upon Mt. Sion?

Christs teaching I believe (?) But I too seem to think theres more in it... just not sure yet. God will give understanding in His time, I'll just wait on Him for it. Very Happy

If MoJo is correct 8) concerning Hermon being Zion as I feel she is. What does this mean? Confused or disgusted Havent had this quicked but I'm still looking, so good thing were searching this out for understanding. Very Happy

Psalm 133:3 As the dew of Hermon, [and as the dew] that descended upon the mountains of Zion: for there the LORD commanded the blessing, [even] life for evermore.

Job 38:28 Hath the rain a father? or who hath begotten the drops of dew?

Numbers 11:9 And when the dew fell upon the camp in the night, the manna fell upon it?

Duet 32:2 My doctrine shall drop as the rain, my speech shall distil as the dew, as the small rain upon the tender herb, and as the showers upon the grass:

The dew then is Christs words? He IS the Bread of life Psalm 133:33 for there the LORD commanded the blessing, [even] life for evermore. Eat my flesh and drink my blood, the bread of Heaven, Gods favour in us Christward?

Prov 19:2 The king's wrath [is] as the roaring of a lion; but his favour [is] as dew upon the grass.

Isaiah 24:18 Thy dead [men] shall live, [together with] my dead body shall they arise. Awake and sing, ye that dwell in dust: for thy dew [is as] the dew of herbs, and the earth shall CAST OUT THY DEAD.

The PRECIOUS OIL (whats precious to God but the DEATH of His Saints in Rev?) The Precious oil upon THY HEAD (The Head is First MAN? Or as Christ Second Man BOTH can be seen =Head and Tail CUT OFF in Isaiah 9:14 in a SINGLE DAY) As The DEW OF HERMON which means...

Hermon: anathema; devoted to destruction ?? Destroying the Flesh (men as the grass, dew on grass) to the saving of the soul unto Salvation? Gods favour as the dew in Christ.

So its through death ... Death and Life both are OURS in Christ.

Christ IS our Head (Head of the body) Messiah cut off (devoted?) But also John in a similitude was BEHEADED as Well.

Its for your good I go away (Cut off) Hosea 14:5 (((I will be))) as the dew unto Israel (fell upon them?)

Zech 8:12 For the seed [shall be] prosperous; the vine shall give her fruit, and the ground shall give her increase, and the heavens shall give their dew; and I will cause the remnant of this people to possess all these [things].

Now in Hag 1:10 Therefore the heaven over you is stayed from dew, and the earth is stayed [from] her fruit. (you can read prior in Hag. to understand this verse, in "the whys" of it all)

Yeah... Having fun Laughing

here i go again.
lone,
no word search but is it possible this is bruised as in bruised fruit? bruised fruit rots unless the bruise is removed. the removal of the bruise might = liberty.

star,
i think you're right about the dew. maybe the other part of it is the Spirit. at least that's how it sounds to me. can you run with this for me?

Star replies

She? Run with what? The Spirit? Absolutely the Word and the Spirit are One.

Just as Christ (One man) as the One Seed or Word of God fell into the ground and dieth to produse many Sons of the Kingdom (The Good Seed Sons of the Kingdom of ONE SEED). The Spirit of Christ poured out on all flesh (men are as grass, dew on the grass?) So His dew is as the spirit poured out on all flesh amen?

He (The Spirit of Christ) will be AS the dew. His favour is AS the dew on the grass (men) .

Did I run ok She? Laughing Or did I run right? Laughing

Hugs

Well gee thanks there Shepreach Laughing Thanks for not making it easy lol Wink Dont give me so much credit I stumble all over my self constantly Embarassed Someone needs to "give me a clue" more often then not Laughing

Ya know... That happened between Elizabeth and Mary I think its the child/ offspring Wink (the Spirit) that leaps within the womb as we are greeted with a good word of the Lord between us Very Happy

Luke 1:14 For, lo, as soon as the voice of thy salutation sounded in mine ears, the babe leaped in my womb for joy. Shocked Very Happy

I always loved that verse, showed me much concerning concerning the "joy" of a good "salutation" Ever look that up? Its pretty kool, that "Salutation or Salute" is the "greeting" both seen between Elizabeth and Mary in "type" (so we sense the inner truth according to the similitude... Kool!) To greet or Salute with the holy kiss (ever see that mentioned by Paul?)

1Corinth 16:20 All the brethren greet you. Greet ye one another with an holy kiss.
Romans 16:16 Salute one another with an holy kiss. The churches of Christ salute you.

[Every man] shall kiss HIS LIPS that giveth a "right answer".

Prov 16:1 The preparations of the heart in man, and the "answer of the tongue", [is] FROM THE LORD.

Songs 1:2 Let HIM KISS ME with the KISSES of HIS MOUTH: for thy LOVE [is] better than wine.

Even Judas Kissed the Lord in His betrayal, So he infact kissed Him WHO GIVES the right answer.

Luke 7:45 THOU gavest ME NO KISS but "this woman" since the time I came in hath not ceased to kiss my feet. (kisses HIS FEET, wash the feet of the Saints? labor of love in the Spirit? greeting...? answering kindly with the word of the Lord from the words of His mouth=put my words in your mouth, He kisses) Isn't that cute? Very Happy

This is SO KOOL take the literal translate this spiritually (as in the above cooncerning the true kiss, greeting or solutation then see natural women as spiritual women those with babes)

The "kiss" took place thus between persons of the same sex. In the "Apostolic Constitutions," a writing compiled in the 4th century, A.D., there is a reference to "the custom" whereby men sat on one side of the room where a meeting was held, and women on the other side of the room (as is frequently the case still in parts of Europe and Asia), and the men are bidden to salute the men, and the women the women, with "the kiss of the Lord." Wink

Luke 24:38 But Jesus said unto him, Judas, betrayest thou the Son of man with a kiss? Shocked

Whose Kiss was it? Whose WORDS were being fulfilled? He KISSED HIM with Gods word betraying the Lord as it is written yet he was choosen of the twelve.

Psalm 2:12 Kiss the Son, lest he be angry Mad and ye perish [from] the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed [are] all they that put their trust in him.

Heres the thing, God said Awake O Sword against my shepherd against Him who is close to me, the Sword (Word of God, Sword of the Spirit) is awaken against The Son and the betrayal is a KISS and a Kiss is AN ANSWER and the answer is of the Lord and God's answer was to Abraham that He provide a Sacrifice and that sacrifice was His Son (the lifted Sword) The Word of the Lord was against the Son and FOR the people, for God so loved the world He gave Him for the life of it.

The kiss is awesome... Gees all that over a sweet little comment from Shepreach Laughing

Hugs in Him girly
