It is some new fangled English. I occasionally see it spelled phat now, and in "gangsta talk" it can mean cool, hip, impressive or good. Synonyms are "fly" and "dope". Y'all peep that?

I noticed thunder spelled surprised "surprized". Anothah gizangsta talk-izm.

Yo, thunda, tha Z-dawg peep yo mad lyrical flow. S'all good.
Peace out.

Romans 8:7 "Because the carnal mind [is] enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be".

Is this why few people, understand the 4th commandment (Exodus 20:8-11) ?

INteresting question. I looked a the context of Romans 8:7. Nothing there about the 4th commandment. Plenty there about walking after the flesh (following the commandments of the law in order to attain righteousness) leading to death, and walking after the Spirit (trusting in the work of Christ for righteousness) leading to eternal life.

Perhaps the question we should ask in regard to Romans 8:7 is: Is this why man's efforts to be righteous by his obedience to the commandments meet with such consistent failure?

Romans 8:8 "So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God."
I do believe the answer is Yes.

Yes....As I've said so many times before, no one can keep the commandments of God, without God.
Not even, Jesus Christ Himself !

Romans 8:8 "So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God."
I do believe the answer is Yes.[/quote] Right on.
In human strenght, no man can do anything to please God, because of our sinful nature, which is pure selfishness.

Acts 13:37 But he, whom God raised again, saw no corruption.
Acts 13:38 Be it known unto you therefore, men [and] brethren, that through this man is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins:
Acts 13:39 And by him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses.
Acts 13:40 Beware therefore, lest that come upon you, which is spoken of in the prophets;
Acts 13:41 Behold, ye despisers, and wonder, and perish: for I work a work in your days, a work which ye shall in no wise believe, though a man declare it unto you.

This is the Father of all deceptions...."Once Saved, Always Saved" attitude, which satan has promoted so successfully through the whole Christian world, as well as many NON-Christians, who make the claim that they believe in God.

The true test of a relationship with Jesus is, the keeping of all 10 commandments of God, as found in Exodus 20:3-17.
Revelation 14:12 "Here is the patience of the saints: here [are] they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus".

20:20 "And hallow my sabbaths; and they shall be a [SIGN] between me and you, that ye may know that I [am] the LORD your God".

Lets remember that no one can can claim to be innocent, were all sinners and no one can make it into heaven by just following the law,
Only through the grace of God will any of us ever make it into heaven.

Hi,

But, the Bible doesn't say that. The Bible says that no sinner will enter the kingdom of Heaven.

Revelations 21:8, "But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death."

James 2:10, "For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all."

James 2:23, "And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God."
