Prayer Requests

Hello Everyone!

I am new to this forum and would like to ask for prayer requests to all the prayer warriors here.

Please pray for my friends David and Jerry who are enslaved to alcoholism. I ask that the Lord will free them from the bondage that has took them captive for over 20 years.

A while back at work the Lord gave me a vision, when doing my work I saw as if the whole department was brightened by a literal light and could not understand what it meant. Now I realize what it means, I see now that slowly but surely that many in my department at work many are turning to the Lord, even those who were complete unbelievers which surprised me. My work department is closing down but I believe that there is a reason for it, and the Lord must be trusted on this one, please pray for my department so the will of God will come to pass in their lives and they may see the salvation of God.

Omega, You have my prayers for your friends David and Jerry! Alcoholism is a very hard thing to conqueor. It usually can't be done on your own. I pray that they will see that they need a relationship with Jesus Christ.
Also I pray for your co-workers in your department that they find the Lord before it's to late. Sad

Hey all,

I just joined this forum thing and have a prayer request that's very near and dear to my heart.

I live in CA, I've been here almost 4 years, and my grandma still lives in NH, where I grew up. She's over 70 years old and was recently sent to the hospital after she fell asleep at the wheel of her car and crashed on the side of the road. Luckily, she escaped from that relatively unscathed, just a little bruised up. Anyways, after that she was sent to the doctors where she's been diagnosed with emphasema, cardio pulminary disease, oxygen deprivation, narcolepsy and some other related things.

I'd appreciate if you could pray not only for healing for her body but also that she would somehow come to know Christ. My grandmother has only been in a church once since I was born and that was when my mother got remarried. She doesn't get out much and doesn't have any Christian friends. I'm trying my best to minister to her every chance I get but it's hard, seeing as she's over 3000 miles away.

Sorry this was so long, but like I said, it's near and very dear to my heart.

Kristin, I see you're a very young lady, I'm 67 I know it is so hard (being saved) to have your parents & grand parents not to know Christ. My mom is 89 & she won't listen to me. It makes me sad. Sad

Kristin, you have my prayers for for your grandmother. That the Holy Spirit will enter her heart that she might know that she's not right with God. I pray for her salvation!
