Now ask yourself this:
WHAT CAN YOU LIVE WITH MOST BEFORE GOD?
CHOICE NR 1 LET GAY PEOPLE MARRY IN ORDER TO ADOPT STARVING LITTLE CHILDREN
CHOICE NR 2 STOP GAY PEOPLE FROM HAVING THOSE RIGHTS AND IN TURN THOSE CHILDREN WHOM THEY MAY HAVE ADOPTED CAN JUST ROTT AND IF THEY ARE LUCKY MAYBE EVEN DIE IN THE STREETS.
Me? I can live with myself more with choice nr 1. I see my god not just as a loving God, But certainly not a cruel god What about you?
The gay people choose this life. They also have the ability to not choose to practice this sin. Therfor what they do is between them and god just as much as what you or I do. I do agree that we should condone the sin. But to pass a law on it to stop a greater good? Why don,t we just make lustful thought,s visable and pass a law on that too? |
That implies that God's standards are negotiable, at least. And at most, relative.
Is this the message you want to send? |
Gods standards are Gods standards as long as they are Gods standards and not mankinds ideas of what Gods standards are! _________________ bibleCrosswalkNorsk |

Hi, AMK. According to the bible, Jesus interpreted the law seemingly much differently than mankind interpreted it. He gave messages that sometimes were not understood after he gave them. What Christians have is the bible. It's no different than the law the Jews had. We don't have Jesus literally walking among us to share his interpretation of what is written. As a result of this, mankind, being fallible, will not always get God's standards 100% correct. Mankind can only do the best as they possibly can when interpreting what the bible MEANS via what it READS. Point being that God's standards are usually interpreted by mankind and, as a result, they ARE mankind's ideas of what God's standards are. All of us are living life with what we consider God's standards based on our own understanding of what's in the bible. We are all guilty of having a human understanding of what God's standards are.
